Which is The Pillows, btw.

Look up 'Kiri' by Monoral. It's the theme for Ergo Proxy.

X-Japan is good, and I love Hide's solo work. I'd recommend that in a second.

I also really love Dragonash. Especially they're older stuff... Lily of da Valley, and before (Viva La Revolution is a great cd, and Mustang, is also solid.)

A lot of people like L'arc~en~Ciel and Glay, and they're not bad, just not my style really.

I had a theory, that Japan is 20 years behind the Western music scene, as you can see from their "Visual Kei" thing (Hair Metal).

I'm currently listening to TOKIO, they aren't horrible either. It has Nagase as a singer, who is a pretty damn good actor (Ikebukuro West Gate Park, Tiger & Dragon, My Boss My Hero,).

I do like the Dragonash song from Battle Royale, in the credits.

WWKD, is that song from one of their albums or just recorded for the film?

That song is from Lily of da Valley. It's track 12 "shizuka na hibi no kaidan". Most places translate tha to "Climbing the Stairs of Quiet Days." Great cd. I'd really recommend Viva La Revolution too Amongst other songs,it has Greatful Days, which I really love.

For the sake of showing others, here's some random songs...

Their new stuff is good too, although it has an odd Regae', spanish vibe to it sometimes.
