Not to be confused with those obligatory "Please find something good with the product" threads. I'm just curious what's hot right now, since I haven't really watched much.
Please limit it to televised stuff. I don't care who Indifferent Clox is carrying to a 5* match. Now Darth Tedious...:naughty:

JBL beating the hell out of Jericho was spicy. I think the Jeff Hardy Chronic-al is very well booked right now. And anything with MVP.

I mainly only watch RAW now, and the Jeff Hardy buildup is amazing right now. I am turning into Shadow...kinda scary. Jericho/JBL took an interesting turn last night and has me looking forward to more than the microphone battles. I am really interested in the whole Edge storyline they have going on SmackDown! I haven't watched ECW in ages, and didn't know CM Punk won the belt until I saw it on here awhile back.

Honestly, nothing is HOT. What has been mentioned is the best right now, but most people are indifferent to everything right now. The people who watch raw now are the same people like me that watch hoping it will get better again someday.

Seriously, his popularity and level of stardom is growing by the week and it's so far been the centerpeice of the show. Going over HHH, Orton, and Umaga assisted by Orton consecutively is pretty big, but it's been bigger than it is on paper.
His momentum and constant rise from superstar to superduperstar weekly is actually pretty special. I hate to be a bandwagonner (even though I've always like Hardy) but I've been watching wrestling for years and years and the way Jeff Hardy and the crowd behind him is rolling right now is pretty remarkable. It's in the midst of something special and is growing more and more.
I have my fingers crossed that WWE doesn't mess this up. I think it's more than popular, exciting and special enough to be used for the Wrestlemania main event. If I had any say, I'd have him be within a second of winning the WWE title at the Rumble and get absolutely screwed by a disgruntled HHH (heel turn). Then have him comeback with a vengance, win the elimination chamber in a big way, and go right for the WWE title (held by HHH) at Mania. And win.

Nothing is ‘that’ hot
But, Jeff is by far the most over and compelling thing on TV right now.
He’s got that unique thing that all the fans like him, the chicks dig him because he’s attractive, the kids dig him because he’s got star power and the guys dig him because he’s a everyday man, who looks average and will do anything to win a match, something fans can connect with.
I’ve said this before, but he’s got a Foley/Dusty quality to him, I know he’s been hitting the gym a little bit recently, but he’s not in amazing shape or anything, it’s someone that a fan can look at and believe they could be that guy, which in today’s roided freaks is hard to find, same thing with Punk I feel.
Hardy’s push has been handled really well, he’s not looked weak at all thus far, and they are keeping Jeff and Orton apart, which I like, they were involved in a tag match, but that’s it, keeping Hardy hot with big wins and keeping him away from Orton brawls make this match at the Rumble really quite compelling. As I don’t think they’ve worked one on one before, or if they have it was a throw away Raw match.
I think because of the push Hardy’s been getting he won’t win the title, as the push alone has elevated him to the next level a title win would push him through the roof, and I do really want them to do it, but I very much doubt they will.
So yeah, Jeff Hardy is the hottest thing right now, but it’s only a 3 chilli medium hot, we are nowhere near 1999 hotness
As for other things that are warmish:
MVP/Matt Hardy, till hard got injured, hope they pick that one up real quick and lead it to mania, could easily be a show stealer that one
Edge, has a stable going and has hit new heights of being a total dick with his latest antics with Vickie

The Umaga / Jeff Hardy match was the goods imo. Orton played his part well and was almost understated for the first half of the match. He was standing there watching intently. Not just shouting random abuse at Jeff.
The finish to the match was great too. Maybe its because I'm ill atm but I did not see that coming. I saw him jumping at Orton, not back in with Umaga. He also hit the move off the top perfectly. If he was ever ready to become a solid main eventer, the time is now. If he can keep himself clean I see great things ahead for Jeff.

To actually answer the question, the things that really make me want to watch these days are JBL's return, Jeff Hardy (God did I never think I was going to say that,) MVP and Edge. And John Morrison when I remember that ECW exists.

Hardy. The crowd were giving Attitude era style screams (ja, complete with the ever present lady screams Jeff draws). Unless they are tuning it up more on TV over here, it sounded fucking mental and for once, JR sounded good going crazy (he's been pissing me the fuck off lately, specially the Jeff will not die thing).
It was just all sweet and reminisant for me. I'm really liking it.
and probs to Umaga too. I mean, he was in that match and did royally fuck it up and still kept a little cred as a big bastard with something rather über having to beat him and keep him down.
Also Orton. I love the way he was outside the ring. Yeah it's fake, but the passion he's giving this fued is nuts. Jeff still sounds quite shit and "not polished / boyish" on the mic, but Orton is just all fucking intense like he hates every fucker out there.
Jeez, just by writing that, I can see I really am enjoying it.
All RAW needs now is not to balls this up. The writing team are doing well with this one.
But to really keep momentum going, they need to do what they did back in the day. Focus on other people too. Don't whack every show around the main guy(s). Have other fueds / mini-fueds working around.
Tag belts should really be pushed and see what they can do with teams to get something moving there. There's many underused people on RAW that can just be slapped together and some tag teams that need to have a match here and there even if it's just 5/10 mins cos the show is full.
Hardy should hold both titles to give him more of a push and so he doesn't jsut randomly drop the belt and so that he doesn't want to unify them, maybe have Vince against him and strip him of the Intercontinetal belt or something so that it can be used with some credit as a legit worthy belt with some good feuds around it.
Not everyone will like the main guys, so they need to keep variety to keep the uplifting feeling that some of us are having. 2008 could really be a good year for WWE if they really put effort in and don't mess up.

I have never been a Jeff Hardy mark, as I've always preferred Matt (and kind of wished Jeff Hardy would go away), but his current push has made me want to see him as WWE Champion. I would actually pay to see Jeff Hardy wrestle and win. The WWE is missing out on a huge mark out moment if they fail with this. Honestly, Jeff Hardy's rise has been done in a way that he almost has to win.
JBL and Chris Jericho have also made their feud look great. Never thought I'd be saying it would be interesting, but indeed it is. I mean, the match will not be a classic unless they can go No Holds Barred with it (I'm hoping that's what happens as a result of RAW), but the brawl they had, and the beat-down of Jericho is working wonders for it.
You bitched at me the last time I brought it up, but John Morrison & The Miz vs. Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore for the WWE Tag Team Titles has been great. If they gave The Redneck & The Reject a hot chick (Maryse? A redneck, a reject and a French girl?), they would be even more over than they've gotten on their abilities (which is quite over, believe it or not). Also, CM Punk is in a feud with Chavo Guerrero which encourages good wrestling between them. Always a plus.
Jamie Noble, MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Santino Marella are all pretty great right now, too.

I agree with most on here that Jeff is seemingly the greatest thing since sliced bread.
My only concern for Jeff, is his mic skills. The other night on RAW (when Jeff was being interviewed backstage), I thought his promo was fairly weak.
Jeff has a HUGE build-up and following right now, but I'm not sure how long it would last once he becomes champ. Are the fans cheering Hardy because they love Hardy, or are they cheering him simply because he's the underdog....and someone new is (finally) working their way up the ranks.
I'm concerned that this MIGHT be Rey Mysterio part deux. Hopefully, I'm wrong.
p.s. An unrelated thought - I think it would be cool if one day (two years from now?), Edge, Jeff, Matt, and Christian (comes back to WWE) have a TLC match for the World title.

Okay, so what's up with Tomko?
And what makes Styles hot?
TNA's about all I watch these days, but I mostly watch the ME, and only when I remember. So what makes these guys stand out?

AJ has started to show some real character backstage, but it's the character of a goof ala Angle sucking up to Austin type goof.
So it's good to see another side of him, but until he breaks away from being either Angle's or Christian's bitch, he's always going to come across like a sidekick

Tomko is really fucking decent these days. He told Angle and Christian to both go fuck themselves, and he's got some great sarcastic comic timing. AJ Styles actually has personality now, and while he is a bit of a goof, when he eventually turns on Angle and feuds with him, he'll be better off for it.

AJ and Tomko were a great double team, as Tomko played a really good straight man for AJ to bounce off

I think with the possible exception to Orton vs. Hardy the hottest thing in wrestling right now is Awesome Kong vs. Gail Kim. I know it is a diva rivalry but the matches have really delivered and theirs is the only storyline that is any good in TNA.

Seriously, Kim vs. Kong was the best thing TNA has done in a while
BUT Kim is nursing an injury so she's taking time off for a bit
