I'm CALLING it right now......(regarding the Jeff Hardy / Randy Orton match at RR)
Matt Hardy will shock the world and turn on Jeff Hardy.....and thus, allowing Randy Orton to win the match.
This will lead to a Matt/Jeff match at Wrestlemania.
p.s. Apology in advance if someone already mentioned this idea....as I didn't see it.

That's not that out there, it's going to happen eventually, I just don't think it's gonna anytime soon.
The reason I think this is a) Matt has his shit going with MVP and that's gonna be a mania match most likely.
b) Jeff is on an absolute roll and I don't think they'd waste him on a fued that will be over no matter what whenever it goes down. If he doesn't win the title at Rumble he'll prob win the elimination chamber and be in the main event.

If there is a Hardy/Hardy match at WM, it better be IC vs US title, and MVP better have lost the US title to Matt only to go on to win MITB.

Great swerve, need a reason though, I mean Orton just kicked him in the fucking head.
Plus that kills the MVP/Hardy feud we all need to see

I think the Matt Hardy/Jeff Hardy fued should come a bit down the road, after Jeff has gotten his world title push.
After that, I'd make it a priority. That's your motivation anyways. Him living in the shadow of his younger brother. He wins the US title, Jeff wins the World title. He's just fed up of always being in his shadow and decides to prove who the stronger, more talented brother is.
Have him even reference how he never gave up and made a name for himself while his brother took off and came crawling back and still does the Hardy Boys thing.
This stuff would be gold. I thinkt he turn should also come after the two team up for a while. Have them team up against two top heels in a main event level tag team title fued. Then, at the perfect moment, have Matt swerve Jeff.

Maybe the "kick in head" could have been staged?
Either that, or Matt could have taken offense to how "younger brother" Jeff had to rescue him and in effect, made him look like a pussy?
I'm not really sure what the reason could be, but like you say, it would be a pretty decent swerve. Matt feuding with Jeff could also help Matt get some semi-main-event credibility (since Jeff is on that level right now I guess)

I would mark out like a little bitch if that happened, Heyman, and the thought has passed my mind, but I decided against it being a really likely scenario. The WWE loves their money, and I bet they keep The Hardys together long enough for Matt & Jeff to get another Tag Team Title run to promote their DVD later this year. I believe the Matt Hardy heel turn is coming, but I also feel that it will happen later this year. Not that it should, mind you, I love your idea.
As for motivation, the clear reason would be jealousy. Matt Hardy was always the "lead" brother, who planned their strategy, kept Jeff focused, worked to better himself in the ring, etc. Jeff got more fame, however, by jumping off ladders. Matt had to hook up with a slut just to get the spotlight on him. He won the Hardcore Championship, Jeff won three; he won the European Championship from Eddie Guerrero, Jeff won the IC Championship from Triple H, and the Light Heavyweight Championship; Matt has an amazing rivalry with MVP over the US Championship, Jeff wins his fourth IC Championship and wins matches against Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Umaga and Randy Orton. All the reasons are there, Matt just has to string together a brooding history of being in his brother's shadow underservingly.
And honestly, Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy for the IC and US Championships in the same match would make me fork down money for WrestleMania. The same goes for MVP winning the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. I would definitely put over Matt Hardy in their WrestleMania match, just because he's my favourite. Matt walking around on both shows with the US and IC Titles, even with a bit of a posse going like in the Mattitude days, would be great.

While that is in the relm of possibility i just don't see it happening. I just dont think that the matt vs. mvp fued is over and if one was to turn on the other i think there is a better chance of one winning the title and them starting a friendly rivalry before one screws the other. Although i would not be shocked if this storyline were to happen I dont think it will.

I think the WWE will drop Matt Hardy vs. MVP without explanation. I mean, everyone is excited for a US Title match between the two at WrestleMania, but I'm honestly expecting Matt Hardy to show up on RAW with no reason given.
If the WWE were serious about continuing the MVP/Hardy feud, they probably would have written MVP into Matt's promo on RAW. And didn't MVP go after the leg in kayfabe? I'm not sure if the WWE mentioned Matt's appendix or not, but there was not mention of MVP in Matt's RAW appearance. Plus, if Matt Hardy was meant to return at the Rumble in kayfabe, then when he does return around WrestleMania time, the person he will probably be pissed at is Randy Orton.
I see Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton and MVP in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, personally, with maybe a little mention by Michael Cole of Matt Hardy and MVP's rivalry on SmackDown!.

I think Jeff Hardy will win. But I think it will be because of John Cena. I think Cena will walk down to the ring and Orton will get distracted by him and Hardy will roll him up to win the belt. But, the next night Orton will win the belt back from Hardy.
