Uh.... Why?

Seriously, waste of time.

Because no one remembers Rey being champ...I mean come on...he was gettin killed on Smackdown WHILE he was WHC

IMO, it's a great choice for a filler feud that I'm sure will be a very good match, at least.

I don't know. Tossing two roided up overrated fuckers into the same match increases pissbreak time.

KK swears Edge is the death of Smackdown. However; I am thoroughly enjoying Edge as champion.

So...Are you functionally illiterate, or do you just enjoy lying?

Nark Order

Are you fucking serious? You shoot the guy down every single day. If you don't think this then you have done a very good job of making people believe you do. I'm not saying you said that word for word, but I believe you feel this. Shut the fuck up, seriously.

At this point I'd rather see Edge vs Rey than Batista Challenge #493.

Well, this is either another lie, or another demonstration of your comprehension problems.

In other words, you didn't answer the question.

KK, I'm not in the mood for your dodgy bullshit. You constantly cut down Edge. I'm not even saying that it's a bad thing that you do so. I'm just pointing out the fact that you do. You don't like him, you've made it clear. Just pointing that out. Don't blow it out of proportion like you always do. Shut up and continue trying to make your quota of 1000 posts for the day.

KK dislikes Edge's current push, position, and inabilty to attract heat.

This 'inability to attract heat' is complete bullshit IMO.

Nark Order
01-09-2008, 08:31 PM
I know all of his reasons but most of them are unfounded. He claims it's all cheap heat, blah. blah, blah. Says he didn't get much heat until the Matt Hardy deal happened... SO WHAT? What better way to get over as a heel than by being a real life heel? That's not cheap, that's a fucking incredible opportunity to capitalize on.

It'll be a good match. I'm personally intrigued by the storyline which evolves this week (I won't ruin anything). Will be a good match.

It's okay, spoilers or not no one is going to watch it. Rey belongs in the mid card. Hands down. Edge is a great character and a good champion.

Actually, I've explained this multiple times. I'm not dodging; you're either pulling it out your ass because you're a liar or you're just not capable of actually interpreting what is said.

Your argument is almost exclusively bullshit, and despite your claims of being tired of my argument, you're the one who felt the need to make it up in the first place. Don't lie if you don't want to be called on lies.

That's not cheap, that's a fucking incredible opportunity to capitalize on.

LOL. You're fucking retarded.

Except, you know, it's true. His heat started to die down when they stopped reminding us of Matt Hardy every five seconds. I'm sure you'll pull some bullshit argument about how he's over now, though you're arguing about the show where the reactions are dubbed and Bobcore was the most over face by fan response for ages.

The argument that he's a great heel because he got heat for something that happened in real life is great on the surface, but faulty and ignorant. It's pretty much the pinnacle of specious reasoning.

Please. Surprise me. Make an argument that doesn't hinge on half-ass logic.

Also, might as well. Edge v Bats, and Edge v Undertaker is old and boring. Rey v Edge is an obivous choice to give Edge a free ppv win to fill up time between now and maina. Who else on smackdown deserves a title shot and is a face? No one really.

Who else is that expendable, for that matter?

I mean, Rey can get jobbed out form here to 2028, and he'll still be over with the kids. Mostly because they want someone their size to look up to (figurateively of course), but still.

Personally I am looking forward to this match. Rey and Edge can put on a great match. A lot of people think it will be a waste of time as Rey isn't going to win the gold, what about your HBK in a title match? I'm not comparing Rey and HBK, but telling you all that whc match at the rumble will be worth watching.

It will most definitely be an awesome match, although I'm willing to bet they don't give it the time it deserves.

Yeah, but the problem with that logic is that Shawn Michaels is actually greatness, and his participation in a match makes it worth the price of admission. Rey isn't, and doesn't. I know you're not comparing them, but realistically, you kind of have to to see why people would complain about one and not the other.

These 2 have never had a proper fued since they were a tag team, and Rey is a fresh challenger. Batista/Edge is old news, and they're likely saving Taker for Mania.
It also has potential to be a great match, and could likely see Edge flat out win clean, which gives him some extra credibility since he's mostly utilized as a cheater.

So what you have here is a fued to keep the champion busy. They do it every year during Rumble time since I can remember watching wrestling. And to be honest, Rey is one of the better people to get the role of being a stand in challenger in January.
In past years it's been Mark Henry and Hardcore Holly.

I'm sorry to go to fantasy land again, but I would be intrigued if the WWE had Rey Mysterio win the World Heavyweight Championship (for the first time ever, BDC) at the Royal Rumble.

They could have Rey Mysterio and Jeff Hardy help each other in their respective matches. Edge & Randy Orton both have underdog opponents, and if I was one of two underdog opponents heading into an event, I'd be chatting to the other underdog challenger on the phone, too. Rey Mysterio is a hit with the Hispanic audience, and he sells a bunch of merchandise. Jeff Hardy is hot property at the moment, and he could make the WWE a few bucks.

The other option is to play more within the brand split, and have either Chavo Guerrero or The Undertaker help out Rey Mysterio. I'm fairly certain that we're actually going to see a Chavo swerve of some sorts in coming weeks, with Chavo either turning face, respecting CM Punk, and standing against Vickie Guerrero's crap; or re-affirming his bad guy status. Personally, I'd rather see the Chavo face turn, and have Guerrero help Rey win the World Title.

I'd have absolutely no clue where the WWE would go then, with Rey Mysterio as SmackDown! Champ and Jeff Hardy as RAW Champ, but I think it would be much more interesting. WrestleMania is nowhere near set, as the closest thing we have to an implied match is Edge vs. The Undertaker. I think they could easily blow this at No Way Out to the same effect. I wouldn't recommend going into WrestleMania with either Rey or Jeff as World Champs, but it would be an interesting way to begin the Road to WrestleMania.

I agree. I don't see a problem with Rey Vs Edge as long as Rey is not winning. And it doesn't appear that he will...

I can't see why some people doubt this match, the rumble overall has a pretty good card lined up imo, and Rey V Edge could be a good match. They work well enough together.

If you think Edge is a good heel for the Matt Hardy thing, then you pretty much think that the Miz is a good heel for being the Miz.

Furthermore, that would mean OJ Simpson's a great heel for killing someone. I know he'd get boo'd if he went on Smackdown.

The difference between playing the heel and doing something really bad in real life and people disliking you because of it is very distinct. Not being able to make the distinction between the two comes with not understanding how the whole fucking thing works, I guess.

And X-Pac was a great heel.

And Cena's a great heel because people are sick of him (Granted, he was a good heel, but that's not the point).

Hitler was a great heel, too. Although like most foreigners, he was cheered in his own country as a hero.

(Had to drop the Godwin's law thing)
