I have no porn at my house and my dad says it's a waste of time and I should work on sports instead and he lets me play games once and a while and now, for what? Playing a movie. PS3 is one of the best investments you could possibly make man. For roughly the same price as a 360 elite your get to play the biggest exclusives, you get free online with incredible innovation through the form of home, you get the leading hd-format built in, & one hell of a media hub to boot. back in early 2007 i didnt like my ps3. i played 360 and almost trade in my ps3 for it. i got my 360 and ps3 now.
i learned a lesson, be patient for the best, i now regret bouying my 360. the ps3 is just getting too advanced. the RFOM2 news just made me regret the buy.

all xbox dead is, is a matchmaking service. there are no dedicated servers. every video is full of drm out the wazoo. if you had to pay 50 bucks a year for aim or yahoo or even myspace would you??? especially if it was as restrictive as live.

Why does everyone keep saying this? The PS3 only has a few big exclusive games like Unreal Tournament 3, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Ratchet and Clank Future, Warhawk, Motorstorm, Resistance, and more. It also has a lot of unique exclusive games like Eye of Judgment, Time Crisis 4, Singstar, and more with unique peripherals like the Camera, Microphone, and Guncon.

It also has extremely powerful hardware with tons of features like Blu-ray (which not only let's you watch HD movies but gives games more space and durability too), Bluetooth, media card ports, wifi, and more which could cost hundreds if you bought for the 360. It even gives you a lot of freedom like changing the hard-drive to whatever you want instead of buying a proprietary one for hundreds like with XBOX360. Or you can use any bluetooth headset, keyboard, mouse, etc instead of buying a proprietary one (like with XBOX360). It's even capable of running linux, Folding@Home to help universities fight diseases, and more. I don't see what's so great about it, especially when it sells for about the same price as the XBOX360 (which doesn't have all the extra features like wifi, HD movie playback, etc). Oh wait, the XBOX360 actually costs more when you factor in all that and when you factor in XBOX Live which costs $50 each year without dedicated servers. But it's worth paying for it right? Playstation Network is completely free and has dedicated servers which means no lag (unlike XBOX Live) but I rather pay money for XBOX Live's inferior service. The PS3 also has less than 1% defective units, but who cares? It even has future standards we don't need right now or that most people won't use like 1Gbps ethernet, HDMI 1.3, and Dolby TrueHD. What a joke!

Oh yea, and what is up with all those great downloadable games like Super Stardust HD, Calling All Cars, Wipeout HD, and even old Playstation Classics like Castlevania which you can play on your PS3 or transfer to PSP and continue playing? Oh, and I forgot, isn't it stupid how you can access your PS3 through your PSP no matter where you are in the world, and watch or play games that are stored on your PS3 even though you're, like, in another country or something? You can even turn off your PS3 when you're done. How ridiculous!

Oh yea, and let's not forget about the exclusive games coming up. Like MGS4 with Metal Gear Online included, or Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, Resistance 2 with 8 player online co-op and 60 player battles online. And Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII, Gran Turismo 5 with all those crazy online features and photo-realistic graphics, God of War 3, Tekken 6, SOCOM: Confrontation. Not to mention those unique exclusives like Disgaea 3, The Agency which is a totally unique MMO without subscription fees, DC Universe (another MMO with all DC Comics super heroes), Shin Megami Tensei (huge in Japan), L.A. Noire, Nobi Nobi Boi from the makers of Katamari Damacy, Afrika, Aqua Vita, and more. Or how about all those new IPs like Infamous, White Knight Story, Haze, L.A. Noire, Eight Days, WarDevil, Makai Wars, and more. Oh and let's not forget about those all those unnamed projects from highly respected developers like Team ICO, NCSoft, and many others. Heck how about those weird things you can't even call games like Playstation Home.

Sure the PS3 is catching up in sales quicker than expected but I really don't see what the big deal is about the PS3. I doubt it will ever catch up especially with all the stuff that XBOX360 has to offer like lack of featuress, 90% of its games being PC ports or ported to PC, 33% chance your console will break including the one that gets shipped back to you as a replacement, monthly fees, chance of it scratching your discs, expensive proprietary hardware, mostly only shooting games running on Unreal engine, no big exclusives in 2008 (save for Ninja Gaiden 2), and more! Heck, the controller doesn't even come with a rechargable battery and I like that because "having choices" is great for the consumer. Screw the PS3!

One of the most long developed game for the system, made by and awesome developer, has had almost entirely positive reviews and previews, and I see almost no hype anywhere. For the most part, GameFAQs is one giant, constant raid. :-\ Not even joking. Over half of the topics in almost every forum are troll / flamebait / anti-fanboy / reverse fanboy threads. If something is popular in-game, then a group will arise to put it down, and alot of the posters in any given game forum are just there to badmouth the game.

The only reason why SMG won is because it has Mario in it. If it was called Super Sonic Galaxy, it would definitely not be rated as high. Without a doubt, the title for GotY should go to either Bioshock or Mass Effect. i'm tired of seeing crappy overrated games get such high praise because the whole industry is biased. It is just sad that this game won because of Mario.

Suing M$ for pirating their shit is about as dumb as suing a tobacco company for you having lung cancer. What's sad is, I know someone that sued a tobacco company for giving him lung cancer, yet he smoked a good pack and a half a day. Dumbass people think they have everything figured out. :roll:
