Type O Negative's cover of Summer Breeze

Kane Knight

Some of these weren't written by the person who did them, so I'm clarifying

Johnny Hyde - Tainted Love (Originally performed by Gloria Jones)
--Better than the Manson version, IMO.

Stone Coyotes - Paranoid (Originally performed by Black Sabbath)

Type O Negative - Cinnamon Girl (Originally performed by
Niell Young)

Brian May - Hot Patootie/Whatever Happened to Saturday Night? (Originally performed by the cast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show)

The Beatles - Slow Down and Bad Boy (Both originally performed by Larry Williams)

Hendrix - Watchtower (Dylan)

Probably misssing some.

Downloading the Me cover out of curiosity.

Peter Mulvey - Oliver's Army (Originally performed by Elvis costello) and The Ocean (Originally performed by Dar Williams)

Letters to Cleo (Who rock anyway) - Cruel to be Kind (Originally performed by Nick Lowe) and I Want You to Want Me (Originally performed by Cheap Trick).

Bauhaus - Ziggy Stardust (Gotham) (Originally performed by David Bowie) and Telegram Sam (Originally performed by MArc Bolan)

Buffalo Tom does a great cover of Going Underground by the Jam.

I likethe Jam, but I love their version (Which doesn't sound much like the original)

Jeffrey Foucault does a nice cover of "Lodi." I don't remember if that's a CCR tune or a John Fogerty tune, though.

Melissa Etheridge's cover of Tom Petty's "Refugee" is pretty awesome, if I didn't mention it already.

William Shatner's cover of "Common People" is amazing.
Live and Let Die covered by Guns N' Roses
I like Deadsy's cover of Tom Sawyer, although it's not that different
The Guns N' Roses cover of Sympathy for the Devil is top notch

Right now, I'm listening to a cover of "Stay" (The Lisa Loeb song) by New Found Glory... Not horrible...

Do you know what a cover is?

A cover is an artist doing another artists song.

I hope you are being sarcastic. If so PROPS.
