Went to a film festival in Charlotte last year 2 movies that stood out in my mind were
Zazie Un De Metro:
It's wonderful slapstick with wonderful colors. Like a live action bugs bunny cartoon mixed with Amelie.
the 400 Blows
It's just a wonderful movie about a boy and his problems with his family and how he runs away to try and solve them, changed cinema forever.
In case you don't know
Resovoir Dogs was dedicated to Jean Luc Godard and of course a lot of Eternal Sunshine's shit was borrowed from him.
