movie maker help

Ok i downloaded windows movie maker 2. Now ive made three movies approximatly 4 minutes long However they are 40 -60 MB each.. the file is MSWMM i cant figure out how to shrink these files down. nor change it to .wmv ... Keep in mind i dont know shit about computers so details is important.

There's a way you can change the move file type, I forget how though, been a long time since I have used that.
