And unfortunately it's not Steph.

David Lagana, who was on the ECW writing crew after a run as head writer of Smackdown, was let go today by WWE. No reasons were given. Lagana, who was a big wrestling fan before being hired, had been with the company since early 2002.

Very surprising news. I thought Lagana would be mainstay for a long time to come. Maybe this is good news for the WWE and ECW.

Inno, you need to include that in any thread like this from now on.
When Russo eventually pisses off someone who feeds him in TNA, I demand this video every second post, at least.
Speaking of which, with TNA often picking up ex-WWE talent, regardless of their worth, I'm sort of hoping that Dave Lagaga gets signed, and Russo is bumped.

..........You just broke even in my book. On one hand you have a Hayabusa avatar, which is cool. On the other hand, Lagna was one of your fav writers..........

valid point
From PWInsider, if you weeeeel:
The word I am getting is that Dusty Rhodes will take over at the head of ECW creative for the departed David Lagana. Given the recent ECW product, that can be nothing but a huge step up. To be fair, you can't completely blame Lagana for a WWE product but as the head man of ECW, he did have a degree of control and responsibility for the product so he needs to take his lumps for the state of the brand.

Dusty being there could be good.

honest question:
What are the expectations of the ECW brand? With that roster, I mean really, what do they want from it?

Dusty needs to start calling ECW the "Muthaship."

He should bring Cody in and start a tag team with him called "Mah Thun and Me".
They could even do skits where it's like a 1970's sitcom.
