ESPN is the most fucking annoying network of all time

Lately I can't even stand watching it. Like the last few months I guess it has started. I dunno what exactly is going on but I can't watch a single episode of SportsCenter without being horribly annoyed.

They always take one stupid bullshit story that is not a big deal at all and completely run it into the ground, and then they try to be like "oh the media is making a big deal about this when it's nto a big deal at all" when THEY are the fucking media and they are the ones starting all this stupid shit and making a big deal out of nothing by making it the top story every fucking day for a week straight. Like the Tom Brady boot thing, obviously nto a big deal but they make it so huge, and now this Burress shit. Like not a big deal AT ALL but they have to run it into the ground. There are so many more examples, like each week it's something, just can't think of them right now.

You have to remember this is the channel that gives more airtime to golf and tennis than hockey. I agree though unless you are a Patriots, Red Sox, Yankees, Cowboys, Lakers, Roger Federer, Tiger Woods fan there is no need to watch ESPN.

But yeah ESPN can get pretty repetitive, that's why I like watching the local Boston sports channels like NESN and ComCast Sports Network

Dunno I can't stand NFL network, watching it a lot cause of Super Bowl but that's it. Freaking terrible analysts Rich Eisen, Terrel Davis, and freaking Adam Schefter who is the biggest corporate tool of all time. Seconds before kickoff in the week 17 Giants vs Patriots game Adam Schefter is talking to Roger Goodell saying "Why the decision to carry on three networks including NFL network," "Do you think cable companies will eventually figure out their problem and carry NFL network" ODJFDFISJFDSFIOSJOS

ESPN has been this way for such a long time now. I'll occasionally watch bits of NFL Live, or if I happen to catch something interesting on Sportscenter. PTI is pretty solid, but then again its the same stories with just different guys. All the same shit.

Yea..what I do to avoid this is just watch 1/2 hour of a sportscenter a day and that's it. Top of the hour to the next half hour they pretty much cover what I want.

lol Just saw Salisbury the other day on when they had the 1995 spelling bee on Cheap Seats. May be my favorite Cheap Seats episode of all time.

Really though the problem with ESPN is its crazy repetitive, I really don't buy into this "east coast bias" bullshit people try to spew though. I mean USC football was all over ESPN not too long ago. They pretty much just cover the shit out of the really good teams, I can't blame them though they get pretty good ratings and make a fair amount of money.

I think the thing that bothers me the most is that it'd be one thing if they ran out of material to cover and so they started to repeat themselves, but every night they have plenty of shit to use that they just flat out ignore. That's what annoys me. Like they have to cut out an Indians or hockey highlight so they can fit in more talk about the Colts and Patriots.
