Unless you keep their cameramen out of your practices.

Nice job Eli.

That play Eli made to get out of a sack and throw a completion was one of the greatest plays in superbowl history!

Got into way too many situations where it was 2nd and long and 3rd and long. Gotta give Giants credit for doing that on first down

I think it's safe to say that this New England Patriot team will NOT be remembered as the greatest of all-time (or even be mentioned with the other top elite teams in NFL history).

It's a little sad, but that's sports I guess. If you don't win, you don't get remembered.

One could even argue that this New England Patriot team will have replaced the Bufalo Bills and Atlanta Braves as the biggest 'letdown team' in sports. justmessingwithyaStima;-)

Patriots are still the best team I have ever seen

Amazing game.

Seriously. The above mentioned play was also amazing... I also loved it when the one receiver on the Giants caught that pass that was pretty much out of bounds, but managed to catch it falling over and keep his feet in bounds.

Dude, they still went undefeated for the entire regular season. I'd say that earns them a place in the books.

Still, I'm damn glad the Giants won.

But they lost where it counted the most.

As much as I loved that play, I thought the catch that the receiver made with his helmet was even better (forget the man's name). How Eli was able to roll out of a sack and then throw it to the receiver that caught it with his helmet is beyond me.

That, and...exactly HOW many times was Justin Tuck in Brady's face?

I wouldn't go so far to say that the 2007 Patriots are the biggest letdown team ever. Last night's loss was a huge letdown, but the Patriots' 3-1 Super Bowl record in this decade the trumps Buffalo Bills 0-4 record from 1991-94.

If you looked more closely at my quote, you would've seen that I was exaagerating (highlight the part in black ;)). Having said that, let me ask you this:

1) Do people see the Buffalo Bills (i.e. 4 straight Super Bowls in the early/mid-90's) in a positive light or negative light?

2) Do people see the Atlanta Braves (90's version) in a positive light or a negative light?

3) What about the Ottawa Senators in the NHL?

Bottom line? In the end, the championship is ultimately the only thing that matters. This year's Patriots will be known as a very great team, but their greatness will be greatly eclipsed by the disappointment.

Unfortunately - this year's version of the Patriots will not be mentioned in the same sentence as some of those Cowboy teams from the 90's (or those 49'er teams from the 80's).

As Michael Stima would say, "CRY ABOUT IT." ;)

This team shouldn't be.

The 2001-2004 teams should be... 3 super bowls in 4 years including back-to-back.

Amazing game.

Best way to put it. I haven't been into a football game like that in a long time and I'm not a fan of either team but it was simply awesome. Great job by the Giants :y:
