But I don't really like call of duty. I rented COD 4 over the weekend. I don't like it. I have a hard time seeing shit on it, and it goes too fast. Anyhow, is Mass Effect any good?

I could never see shit in COD3, but COD4 had more urban surroundings from what I played of it so it's not as bad I don't think

but yes you are gay

The answer to your Mass Effect question as well as the title is "yes".

Mass Effect is awesome...not as good as Jade Empire but still awesome.

Oh and yes you are a little girl, COD4 is a fantastic amount of fun.

lol.. Jade Empire jobs to Mass Effect.

Jade Empire is a pretty crap game compared to nearly all other RPGs that have come from Bioware. Not saying it was horrible, but it is nothing compared to their other games.

COD's lighting can get pretty dark (at least on COD3 it is) and it may be hard to see anything. Try adjusting the brightness in the options menu (of COD4 has that option like COD3 does) to see if that does any good for you (the very top Activision logo should be barely visible to you). Maybe your brightness setting is too dark.

Yeah it is good to get an HD set, even if it is only of medium or small size. In fact if you are gonna do alot of HD gaming, I would not go above 40" as the larger the size of the TV, the lower quality the set will appear to have. I played Ratchet and Clank Future on a 52" HD and then a 32" HD and the 32" blew away the larger set in 'appearance'.

If I have never played JE is it worth getting the extended PC version for a playthrough?

I don't know what tv's you have been looking at, but my neighbor's 60' LCD is sharp as hell.

I didn't say it looked bad on bigger TV's, I just said it looked better on smaller ones. Think about it. Take a 60" 1080p TV and a 40" 1080p TV. Both have the exact same number of Pixels, but in the case of the 40" they will be smaller/packed into a smaller space. It increases the clarity and detail as it relates to how the human eye sees it.

Imagine you open a picture in paint. What happens when you make the picture bigger but keep the same resolution? It becomes slightly more pixelated as size increases, where you can actually make out distinct pixels. Or imagine another principle where you stretch the picture to the larger size in paint. While it still looks good it is ever so slightly distorted. It is basically the same principle as TV size.

In the end, they both look great but your eyes will think the 40" looks better if you are really looking for quality.

40" + you want Plasma

37" and below LCD all the way. This is fact.
