...and saying that does not make me gay. I bought Continuum a few weeks ago after hearing "Gravity" and "Dreaming With a Broken Heart" playing at work, and I must say, I am quite impressed with the album. He has good lyrics, a great voice, and really he just makes some really enjoyable songs.

Discuss.

Actually he is pretty good.

Now I won't go out of my way to listen to him, but he is better than the majority of bands/singers that have come out in the last 8 year or so.

...But that's not saying a whole lot.

John Mayer you're the mayo on my coleslaw,
John Mayer you're the sugar in my tea.
John Mayer you're the ketchup on my fries,
And John you're the Mayernaise for me.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Yeah, but he's still pretty good. And he's also a pretty funny guy, so I got no problems with him.

He's also cool with Dave Chapelle, so that gets him cool points....doesn't it?

I'm telling you guys, Contiuum is a really solid album. It's the only one I've heard all the way through, but I can't find much wrong with it at all. To those who don't like him, at least tell me why you don't.

What the fuck is that?

Yeah but he got Patti's tape, and Patti got Mr. Bone's yodeling extravaganza. Hilarity ensued as Doug assumed Patti got his tape and was going to screen it at BeBe Bluff's slumber party, which he attempted to sneak into with his partners, Skeeter Valentine and Porkchop.

I'd compare track records with you, but seeing as to how you don't even have one......

Anyway, John Mayer is much more talented than Skippord. That can not be denied.

You win this round Anybody Thrilla, but I will return and exact vengeance

John Mayer still sucks though

But why do you think he sucks? Nobody has said why they think he sucks yet.

It's not my style. It's more preppy college girl style.

Anybody Thrilla

It's solid music. He sings about girls and relationships sometimes, but it's from a guy's point of view. Honestly, I can listen to anything if it's quality, no matter who it may be 'intended' for.

I don't deny that he's a talented guitarist, I just don't like his music.

Skippord

He seems like a cool guy though

he's an alright guitar player too I guess, not my type of music though

John Mayer and Dave Matthews should form some sort of speech impediment band.

I was never really into John Mayer, until I saw him at Clapton's Crossroads show. He really can play his ass off, though it doesn't really come across as much on Room for Squares or Heavier Things (still like them though). From what I have heard of the John Mayer Trio though, that's pretty good stuff blues-wise.

He's not very good but it was funny that he did a cover of Kid A.
