Who all is a pro wrestler/wrestler in training on this site. I've seen several people mention that they were, so I thought it would just be cool to have a list of who all is and maybe where they wrestle.
Also a question that I have reguarding this, of all you guys that wrestle do you know anyone (or do you yourself) wear glasses? I've entertained the thought of training, but one thing holding me back is that I have terrible eyesight and I was wondering if that may be a common problem or how everyone dealt with it.

I'm training. Or trying to. My work schedule got fucked up, followed by me moving out of my parent's house, followed by my new work schedule getting fucked up... well, my training's been inconsistent at best. It doesn't help that the school's like, on the other side of the state.
And I'm in the process of getting contacts right now, actually. I tried to just do it without my glasses, and did a damn fine job of embarrassing myself by getting nauseous that way. I ended up having to alternate between glasses on/glasses off, and looking like a total dumbass. Anyway, I'm in Oklahoma.

Yeah, I'd say to go with contacts. Unless there's a pertinent reason you cannot.
Yeah contacts. Then later on in life take a laser to your eye.

I'm wrestle in south west England
As for your eyesight. Invest in some sweet gimmick contacts. They can last upto 2 years if you don't use them every day

Am I right in saying RVD wears glasses when he's not performing? I'm sure I've seen it.

I'm sure a bunch of guys wear glasses when they are not wrestling. Contacts are the future or lazer surgery

You dont need 20/20 in the ring at all. If you're near sighted then its not relevent AT ALL. And if your Far sighted just watch the big blur running at you. Surely you can make out human beings with out your glasses. It's not like you trying to read the tag on his tights. Poopr hearing, that would be a problem. Eye sight? Dunno. Cant see how having bad eyes woujld be an issue. I have to wear glasses when I drive and I can make out human just fine.

Yeah it's like real life Atari games for me whenever I don't wear mine. Everything is big fuzzy blocks.

Same for me, I'm short sighted. I can make out things without glasses, just not as crisp. Like Destor said, knowing where a full grown man is and what he's doing isn't like reading a sign or anything.

Depends on how bad your eyesight is. I can't see clearly beyond like 10 inches, and so it makes it hard to get a clear read on what someone's doing. That could make the difference between fucking amove up or not.
Of course, I've done fine wearing contacts in Karate, Aikido, and Jujutsu, so it's rectifiable. Then again, Mag's mentioned contacts, so it's clear he's thought of it. It really depends on how bad your vision sucks. I'm pretty bad, and my brother's eyesight is actually worse.

Besides, why wait? Do what I did; get lasik now, file bankruptcy, and delete the debt. Sure, it's kinda like stealing...but who cares?

If Mag's as nearsighted as it sounds, he's no a candidate for Lasik. Which means he regrettably can't file for bankruptcy.

I think I'm in the same boat as KK. I can't see clearly for more than a foot in front of my face. Could I see someone running toward me or doing a move? Probably, but who knows.

I am about to go into training for a local promotion here, but I injured my knee so I have to wait until I get clearance from the doctor to start training. I can't wait to start, the promotion I will wrestle for will be IWF, which is a branch of AWA from what I understand.

And, therefore, his bankruptcy will be a greater accomplishment.
