Well I am sitting here watching Smackdown and Bats vs MVP is on. Bats goes uptop and does a flying closeline and the audio sounded real fake (The big pop her got when doing the move). But after the move he got on Mvp, Mvp grabs the ropes to break the hold, and then the SAME EXACT POP comes out of no where for no reason.
I just got a giggle out of it.
Just got my first taste of WWE in HD.
Kind of sucks. :-\
Smackdown isn't coming in over here, i'm pissed off

You actually watched Smackdown? That's  worthy in itself.

On a side note, I'd love to analyze the pops DX and Cena get and see how much of it is canned. I mean, it's obvious Smackdown is fake, but people expect the live show to be, you know, live.

I think Smackdown is the best show right now. I am always pleased whenever I watch it. With Raw I have been dissappointed, and same with ECW. Smackdown I am usually not dissappointed.
Nah, Raw is normal. Smackdown has sucked balls lately. ECW has been good although I forgot to watch this week's.

I laughed because MVP spent 2/3 of the match working over Bats' left shoulder, and when he comes off the top rope, Dave hits MVP with his injured shoulder and lands on that side of his body and promptly gets up like nothing happened.
Oh man, gotta love how the stars have Hogan-style selling selection. If they want to go superman at any time, they can.

Perhaps you have lower standards for the show.

I find that if I just lower my expectations to the point that they're met, I have a much better experience with any of their shows.
Things are getting sad when I find myself more apt to remembering to tape TNA over ECW or Smackdown. :-/

ECW's matches have been great, and, with the exception of the Gulf of Mexico thing, the Chavo/Punk matches have been phenominal.
The problem with SD is that they have all the big, slow, moveless, slabs. Nobody on that show, in the HW department, has any flash. Plus, as I've said for years, the fact that they coat the arena in blue light doesn't help the excitement factor. It definitely brings the mood to a potsmoke groove.
On a sidenote, I'd like to point out that, in my opinion, Batista vs. HHH Hell in a Cell was a fantastically entertaining match and that his start on SD was crazy impressive. But, these days, I sadly find myself fusing with the masses that claim he adds absolutely nothing to the procedings. He's very boring, and has no moveset whatsoever, and it's become a disappointment that I focus on for the duration of all his matches. Hell, did you see him attempt the Figure Four? He looked as mobile as a lego person. :nono:

I always try to catch when MVP is on. He was the first match of the show, so it was quiet easy to catch the match.

Are you watching TV when you make this analyis'?

Unfortunately, I have to lower my standards waaaay too much when watching WWE to be even remotely entertained.
Keep in mind, I don't expect high cinema.

Ok well i havent seen Smackdown in a couple of weeks, but usually when I watch it I don't walk away saying, "Man that show sucked" I have, on the other hand, walked away from ECW and Raw saying that.

My biggest problem with SmackDown is proof that you're paying attention to three things when you're watching wrestling. The wrestlers, the crowd, and the commentary.
There's no real problem with the wrestlers.
The live crowd goes week by week.
It's the commentary that gets to me. The Coach and Cole are so bland. For the past few weeks I've been playing games on my phone during SmackDown.
The Coach isn't the problem, and Cole isn't either. They're both talented side kicks. If they want to keep The Coach and Cole on SmackDown then WWE needs to make them a classic Face and Heel team. No, this won't be anywhere near what The Brain and Monsoon, but they could learn from them.

Actually, I enjoy the fact that Coach is NOT being a cliche prick.

Smackdown's only draw, for me, is the Palumbo/Noble feud and MVP. ECW is actually really entertaining, at first I didn't like the idea of the Punk/Chavo feud but I'm honestly enjoying every minute of it.
I've actually been enjoying everything on SD, except for the Edge/Rey feud. I'm a big Edge fan, but Rey just doesn't do it for me. The whole underdog, "biggest little man" crap is getting old.
Also, I'm semi-interested in seeing what they do with Batista now that he;s out of the title picture. It'll probably end up being something lame, but we'll see.

I kinda wish Edge/Taker happened last year, b/c it woulda been undefeated vs. undefeated. And really, the possibility that they might break Taker's WM curse is the only thing about him that interests me anymore.
