The best free Anti-Virus is avg.
http:\\free.grisoft.com

I use it on all my PCs, and prefer it to all other anti-virus products, including pay ones, and I've used them all.

AVG is probably the best free one but NOD32 and Kaspersky are both better performers, but they aren't free.

I have the Nod32 suite w/crack installed. Works like a charm.

I ran nod32 for years, not a fan, it's got a bit of bloat to it at times.

I've been using NOD32 for a while. Works great for me.
