View Full Version : Looking for a SNES emulator that works with a 360 controller

I have zsnes and I plug and played the 360 controller and it automatically downloaded a driver and the PC read the controller.

But... zsnes doesnt find it.

Am I missing something here?

I dont know about plugging it in...

I have that 360 wireless adapter for the computer and zsnes and it works fine.

Don't know if that would work, is it a wired controller or a Wireless Controller using the adapter?

I know it works because a driver downloaded when I plugged it in and the light in the middle of the controller lit up afterwards.

I have the controller plugged in and the software installed...it doesn't work at all? What do you have to do to configure it

OK got it working for SNES9X, just go into controller configuration and set the buttons, it should recognize it. If it doesn't, there is a thing you can download which escapes me right now. Also make sure you download snes9x version 1.51 or else it will be impossible to set the buttons

Windows should just recognize it as a regular controller so it should work?

I use my 360 controllers to play emulators and they all work.

Yeah should work with zsnes, although I use a USB adapter for an actual SNES pad, and I have a N64 one too.

Tried it earlier and it worked.

Guess I just needed to reboot the PC from when I first tried it.

I like it because it has the speed button to speed up useless crap in games.

does SNES9x have that feature?

I remember finding a working SFA2 a couple years ago, but too bad I don't have it anymore.

Although I did start playing the one for MAME and it was much better, IIRC.

WTF is wrong with mine, I had it working perfectly on SNES9x could play everything with it, now it doesn't recognize it at all except for one game, Mega Man's Soccer. It recognizes the controller on the menu screen and I can scroll up and down it for as long as I want but once I choose any option it stops recognizing the controller altogether. And no other game works.

It does work, just tried this version on the latest ZSNES. There's a lot of bad ones out there though so I put the working one I have on megaupload.
