I read that "Amish" Roadkill was fired from OVW for promoting his own merchandise. I read that thats a no-no but do you think that firing him was too harsh of a punishment? Was it his first time doin it or was it one of those he had been warned but did it anyways situations?

I think I need more details to know whether or not it was too harsh. I mean, if it was the first time, then yeah. If he's got a history, maybe not.

D-X does it all the time.

I haven't heard anything about it, but despite numerous character make-overs, he never really stood out in OVW. He was OK with Danny Doring, but when they cut Doring, I'm surprised they kept Roadkill around.

If he did sell his own merchandise, and it is a published no-no, then no, it was not too harsh. I have a feeling he was just a cost-cut, though.

It happened to Hebner. Why is an ex-ECW any more immune than the senior WWE referee?

Hebner was slightly different though....he was selling WWE Licenced merch without permission.....

I also read somewhere that McMahon had never seen the guys before, but heard he was big, so he approved his gimmick change to Polaski, wanting to bring him up as a Polish guy, but he finally saw him, and when he saw he was only like 6'1, he wanted to drop him because he wasnt quite a hoss

The funny thing is, it doesn't need to be true, it happens so often that it's completely fucking believable.

TNA might as well pick Danny Doring & Roadkill up and add them to their tag division and fire Billy Gunn & Road Dogg.

I seriously think Roadkill and Doring could be a hit if presented well.

If they do that TNA will then have all the REAL ECW Champion's, since Rhino is the ECW/TV Champion and Danny Doring and Roadkill are the Tag Team Champion's. At least thats what I remember after missing the last 5 ECW shows.
