I'm shocked. Mr. Perfect dethroned what I was sure was going to be the first Better Wrestler Hall of Famer. With RVD out of the way does Perfect have what it takes to reach the top of this TPWW mountian? He has to get threw his first opponent or it doesn't matter. Today's match:

For me this is insanely difficult. This comes down to nothing but personal preference as any standard I have for judging talent they are just WAY to close. If I were to make a top 50 favorite wrestlers they would both quite easily make the list, But Blanchard would be ahead by a few spots.

I went with Perfect just because I've had more exposure to him.

I'm in the same boat as ddp, went with Perfect because I've seen more of his work.

Honestly thats the reaction I'm expecting, but being such a Tully fan I have to give him his fair shake, and personally I feel that he matches up REALY well against Perfect.

I voted Blanchard based on wrestling alone. If I had to pick overall, I'd give it to Hennig

I'm voting on who was the more complete package for sports entertainment, and I'm going with Mr. Perfect. Blanchard in the ring, but all around Hennig was more complete. But this was the toughest yet.

Perfect. Partially because of my exposure to him over Blanchard, and partially because of the fact that he really was the total package.

This is really tough, but again I have to go with Perfect.

As others have stated, Perfect was the complete package. Tully could have been had he been born maybe 10 years later. Had that been the case, he would have had greater exposure to the wider audience, cut great promos and vignettes, still have been able to feud with the likes of Steamboat, Flair etc but in the middle of his career rather than at the end.

Wrestling was presented differently back in the day, and wrestlers from that era and earlier will always face a challenge in these types of polls through really no fault of their own.

You can't vote against Perfect. He's flawless. He's good at wrestling, bowling, basketball, horse shoes, etc.

Voting for Mr. Perfect. Same reasons as before.

He threw about a 90 yard football pass....to himself!

:shifty:

Also, what ddpBANG said. It's hard to not chose a guy you grew up watching.

Blanchard is taking a worse beating than I thought he would.

As for in-ring ability, it's too close to call. On the mic, tully is great, but Perfect is, well, perfect.

Henning gets the win from me.

Tully, he's Perfect but better on the mic and better dressed.

Workrate wise, it's a toss up

I second that. I'm really surprised that this isn't close, at all.

I'm pretty disappointed in you Sascha. Thought you were going to do something like this:

Perfect. Partially because of my exposure to him over Blanchard, and partially because of ALYAAAAAAAAALYALYA.
