Smackdown 2.29.08:

- Big Show defeated two jobbers. He then cut a promo, discussing Mayweather's $20-Million Dollar Payday.

- Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore defeated Deuce and Domino

- Chuck Palumbo defeated Jamie Noble with the full throttle

- They show a video hyping Batista and Umaga facing at WrestleMania

- Batista and Kane defeated Khali and MVP in a long match when Batista speared and pinned Khali

- In a non-title match Jesse and Festus defeated The Miz and John Morrison

- Balls Mahoney vs. Big Daddy V ended in a no contest when Taker came out and chokeslammed Balls. He demanded that Edge send his minions to the ring. Edge came out with Ryder and Hawkins.

- The Undertaker defeated Zach Ryder with the chokeslam

- After Smackdown went off the air Taker, Kane and Batista all took turns laying out Edge. Edge escaped and vowed that it would end at WrestleMania. Taker and Kane left together and Batista stood in the ring as the fans left.

Sounds like a pretty...meh...show.

-Big Show defeating two jobbers sounds pretty good. I'm glad the WWE have put him on SmackDown!, and I'm glad they've decided he should be a face. Big Show should become the first person to ever hold the WWE Championship, WCW Championship, ECW Championship and World Heavyweight Championship. He can be money.

-I'm glad Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore are getting the push that they are, but the tag team division is in a state of arrested development. This is like the third time in recent weeks these two teams have faced each other. With their wins, and the fact that the last time they had a title shot, they drew with the WWE Tag Team Champions, Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore should be positioning themselves for a WrestleMania title shot, or something.

-The Jamie Noble/Chuck Palumbo feud used to be so hot, but it now seems the WWE are more interested in having Palumbo beat Noble. I haven't been watching that closely, but it seems the story has gone off the tracks a bit. I hope that Noble is talented enough to save it when the writers stop trying.

-Batistia vs. Umaga at WrestleMania could actually be pretty cool. It'll be a solid big man match, and I'm actually interested in it, somewhat. I should not be interested in something Batista does. Umaga is probably the more talented of the two, but Batista will go over, and it will make SmackDown! look good. Perhaps a fuck you to CW?

-Jesse & Festus should get a title shot out of their win against John Morrison & The Miz. I have a feeling we're heading towards a split for Morrison and Miz. Let them keep it together for WrestleMania, though: John Morrison & The Miz vs. Tommy Dreamer & Colin Delaney vs. Jimmy Wang Yang & Shanon Moore vs. Jesse & Festus.

-The best thing about Balls Mahoney vs. Big Daddy V, is that it sounds like Balls got the win via disqualification. Actually, I'm fairly sure the WWE would not have elaborated on that, and might not have even had a closing bell, but Balls winning would have been pretty fucking cool.

-The Undertaker going through Edge's minions heading into WrestleMania is putting the feud on autopilot, but really, that's where it's been and it's a safe way of getting it to WrestleMania. I might care about The Undertaker more if he changed up his image slightly (to look less gay), and started using his Attitude era theme music.

So this is what, the 6th straight week that MVP loses. He even got his ass handed to him at No Way Out.

I understand that people are booing Mayweather and to be honest this whole thing would be better if Mayweather was a heel, because he's a cunt.

Imagine if they swerve and Floydd joins with Show against Rey and someone, that would be good and get better heat

Well, I haven't really been following the whole angle, but I guess Big Show is still a heel. The WWE seems to be opening up the feud, though. Show talking about a guy getting a 20 million dollar pay-day does not make me like the guy getting paid.

Rich guys in wrestling generally equate to bad guys.

Big Show destroying two jobbers is good, because he didn't destroy Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore, or something.
