There are alot of wrestlers who people dont consider legends who get inducted to the Hall of Fame but dose anyone here think that Steve Lombardi should ever get inducted to the Hall of Fame? For those of you who dont know Lombardi may be best know for his gimmick the Brooklyn/Boston Brawler "the ultimate jobber" but he also was Kim Chee (Kamala's handler), heel Doink and Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz (shot lived baseball player gimmick). He may not have the impressive singles record like Hogan or the titles reigns Flair has had but he has in his own way made a legacy in the WWE and I think that someday he chould be inducted.

Brawler is legendary, so yes.
Yeah. I mean, he's been under contract what, 25 years?

Brawler should be in, but should JBL?

Hey, if you want to talk about jobbers going into the hall of fame, look at Barry Horowitz. He should go in at the same time as the Brawler.
Bob Holly, Val Venus, Stevie Richards and Funaki. Who should it be.
How many ppvs has HBK jobbed in the past 2 years?

Yeah, for services to the industry outside of the ring as well as inside.
He has hardly had what you could consider a Hall of Fame career in the ring, failing to get any of the endless gimmicks he was offered over with the crowd.
But on the other hand, he was a steady guy who made others look good for over a decade. Many stars were made at the expense of the Brooklyn Brawler.
In addition, he is a long serving backstage member of staff, has been an agent, wrestler, referee and even a company mascot (remember his short tenure as Roo, the wrestling kangaroo from... uh... New Zealand. Yeah...)
He doesn't scream "HALL OF FAME" but it wouldn't surprise me nor upset me if he were inducted. As I always say, a guy who gave decades of his life to wrestling is more than deserving of being in a Hall that lists Pete Rose, William Perry, James Dudley, Johnny Rodz and Mikel Scicluna amongst it's members.
Against that yardstick, ANYONE could be inducted into the HoF without lowering the standards. Anybody got Outback Jack's number?

I wonder if (when?) Ultimate Warrior will be inducted? Ditto for Randy Savage. Both men deserve the honors (despite their fallouts with the WWE).
On that note - Brock Lesnar won KOTR, the Royal Rumble, and the World title at Wrestlemania in a span of TWO years. That's gotta be worth something. ;)

Warrior probably never (while he's alive anyway) because I don't think he would accept the induction even if WWE wanted him to, which they probably do at the end of the day.
As for Savage, no chance. If the Steph rumours are true, Vince won't forgive and forget, and even when Vince shuffles off this mortal coil, Steph and Trips will be running the show and he's still got no hope.
Unless he STILL gives Steph that warm, fuzzy feeling inside... we know who wears the pants in the Steph-Trips marriage, that's for sure.

Lesnar probably depends on whether WWE deem him worthy or not. There can't be much bad blood between the two sides anymore, and if Lesnar becomes a BIG name in MMA, then WWE may want to capitalise on that by inducting him into the Hall.
Of course, I still think Lesnar (much like the Rock) will end up back in the WWE down the line, when his moment in the mainstream spotlight comes to an end. Therefore, it may be wise to hold off on their inductions until the final chapter is written.

No, Lombardi was face Doink.
Actually he was only Doink on a couple of occasions, usually opposite Matt Bourne as the heel "Double Doink" (in lieu of Steve 'Skinner' Keirn playing the role)
Ray Apollo was the face Doink for the majority of the WWF run.

There was only one and only one true heel Doink and that was Matt Borne. He should get the nod just for taking a clown gimmick and making iit so fucking awesome

I can honestly only ever see these two go in posthumously. Which is unfortunate to me at least in Savage's case because he was one of my favourites as a kid.

Brawler should get in if Pat Patterson still has a reasonable amount of clout with Vinnie Mac.
