Yes, that's right, there's a THIRD Underworld movie coming out. The first one was an okay popcorn flick that did so poorly only DVD sales greenlighted a sequel. And yet somehow, a third is being made. Will White Wolf sue again? Will this one draw an audience larger than the cast? Will Snape kill Dumbledore?

Second one wasn't that bad. And I like Vincent so I don't mind the direction. I suppose the series will be miked dry when the TV show eventually comes out.

I hated both of the Underworld films, so I'm a little less than pleased a third one is in the works.

Well, there's no suprise there. It was pretty much set in stone after the first one they were making a trilogy. I may check it out.

Actually, it was planned as a trilogy from the beginning. But less than stellar box office cales all but kiboshed that. The only reasons 2 was made was because the DVD sold well. And THEN, Evolution sold poorly, so one would have thought they'd let the fucking thing die.

More from the files of sequels that didn't need to be made.

Hamlet 2 and Night at the Museum 2. The first one's worse.

I didn't mind the first one, I've seen the 2nd and was disappointed in it, but it wasn't the worse film I've ever sat through. I'd watch the 3rd. My luke warm vote of confidence is probably what's got them excited enough to make this film.

Bonfire of the Vanities

This is one of the greatest novels I have ever read, and it had the content to be an Oscar-worthy film, and they somehow messed all of that up and made it into the movie it turned out to be.

No Kate Beckinsale in this one, eh? That seems to be defeating the purpose of these movies.
