Honorable Mentions:
Taz: When you heard Kiss' "War Machine," you just knew that someone was gonna die. And he could pull off being a 5'8" monster because of his style and intensity.
Eddie Guerrero: R.I.P., but the fact is, he was probably the best luchador to have ever wrestled. The fact that he combined the Lucha Libre style with the Purely American Charisma, he was a big deal.
Jake "The Snake" Roberts: Personal Demons aside, he was my favorite WWF guy during the Hogan era. While Hogan had these larger than life wars with Andre, King Kong Bundy, et al. Jake had these really personal rivalries, like with Rick Rude, Randy Savage, and with Rick Martel. That and Earthquake's injuring Hogan was evil. Squashing Damien was just sinister on a whole 'nother level. As a Face, he was the ultimate Anti-Hero. As a Heel, he was the Devil Himself. Slapping Elizabeth was probably the most heinous thing I had ever seen growing up. At the end of the one SNME (which set up the Undertaker's face turn), during the still kiddie era of WWF, Vince McMahon called him a "Son of a Bitch", with the Bitch edited out, when he was stopped from hitting the first person to come through the curtain after his match with a chair (which would have been Elizabeth.)
Ted DiBiase: He was such a great heel because he represented that "Big Money does whatever it wants" mentality. The Laugh and the utterly evil nature of kicking a little kid's basketball away from him right when he was about to win $500. That act made him the biggest heel in the WWF for years. It's something that'll always work (right, JBL?).
Barry Windham: Always a great worker, and I was especially a huge fan during his brief run as the "Lone Wolf," when he used the Implant DDT as his finish (when he had the Big Gold Belt). It was him at what I consider the pinnacle of his career, thought it really came about 5 years too late. He was a heel who had no qualms about doing the dirty tricks, but would also slug it out. In the ring he was ruthless and aggressive, busting out Lariats on people as they would sit up from a near fall. In many regards, I will still argue that this run was the concept behind "The Game." I'd also be remiss to mention the fact that he also had seemingly endless amounts of endurance, going 30-90 minutes with Flair in several big time contests. If there was ever an Underrated member of the Horsemen, it would be B.W.
