I think they are trying to tell us (or at least tell Jeff Hardy) something...

Hardy is cool, but like even he would figure that one out...he's too stoned out of his mind to read that far down, and it would take too much effort to make his eyes follow.

Jeff's too busy cooking up the Shadow/TNA conspiracy with Shadow to notice such messages.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's cooking up something else...

They didn't call him the Rock because of his amazing manhood, you know.

He had meth and cocaine labs in his basement.

I personally hope they have Chris Jericho shoot on Jeff Hardy in a promo on RAW. Don't just forget Hardy ever existed. It would also further the potential feud between Hardy and Jericho, so they can have some more fun matches when Hardy is back. Jericho should win all of them, though.

If they were smart, they acknowledge it on RAW, and when he comes back they turn it into a storyline of Jeff trying to overcome his addictions.

Of course this is if he comes back

I'd like to see Jeff come back as a heel. There is no way he can come back as a face. Well, I suppose there is, but his momentum will never be as great.

Have Hardy return and have Matt show concern for whether or not Jeff can keep his shit together. Have Matt tell Jeff that he only has one shot left. Jeff is just like "whatever, dude." Basically Jeff plays a prodigy who could be greatness, but he doesn't apply himself and will probably never have the gold. He's arrogant, disrespectful, and half-asses everything (in storyline terms). Then when he does fully apply himself, he can maybe break through again as a babyface.

I'd love to see Vince McMahon come out on RAW, and inform the audience that Jeff Hardy has been suspended for 60 days, and that as such he will be taken out of the annual Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania. Vince apologises for Jeff's behaviour, and for his fans of the WWE. Vince then announces that he the Board of Directors have decided on a replacement for Jeff Hardy in the match, so that the fans get what they paid for. He introduces us to the medically cleared Matt Hardy.

Matt Hardy says that he is excited to be back, and that he is looking forward to being Mr. Money in the Bank. Matt then says that his injury put life into perspective for him, and he's not going to live for the moment just a little bit more. Matt then boots Vince in the gut, and gives him a Twist of Fate.

It's something Matt should have done when he returned red hot in 2005.

Actually, I think that'd be great. Hardy'd be playing himself--A burnout who keeps blowing his future.

That promo Matt cut when he came back killed him.

"I'd like to thank Mr. McMahon".....push over right there. The dude fired you after your girl got sniped by Edge, and you thank him.

Exactly! People didn't really seem to have a big problem with the promo, and instead declared it dead when he lost to Edge at Summerslam because he got bitched, or when he got shipped to SmackDown!; but I'd call that promo the point where the WWE dropped the ball with 2005 Revenge Matt Hardy.

Vince McMahon said he was a man of the people, and had hired Matt Hardy back. Matthew should have told Vince that if he was a man of the people, then he wouldn't have fired Matt in the first place, and then he completely kicks Vince's ass because he's in the position to get away with it.

Vince: I should fire your ass...

Matt: And then hire me back when you realise I am too important to your company?

The Summerslam match should have been won by Edge, yes, but it should have been a disqualification win when Matt went crazy on Edge with a steel chair, or something. Even bring a ladder into it. He could have hit Lita a few times, too. The fans would have gone nuts for that shit.

The Steel Cage Match was fine, and the Leg Drop off the top of the cage was a great spot. The Money in the Bank Ladder Match defence possibly could have gone to Hardy, as well. A lot of people were high on Edge at the time, but no one was hotter than Matt Hardy (except maybe Christian). Hardy with the briefcase and Cena turning heel to feud with him, could have been a brilliant storyline.

The WWE did a lot right in early 2005, what with Batista not being fucked up and all, but they also dropped the ball and missed a lot of opportunities post-WrestleMania. Heel John Cena, Face Chris Jericho, Face Christian, Matt Hardy as a star, etc.
