No Clyde Drexler??
Like I said, 50th anniversary team, trying to make a definitive top 10 is impossible, I ended up with 20 or something before I admitted defeat

Totally forgot Dan Majerle from my list. Whats wrong with me.
Oh yah. And Larry Nance forsure.
Infact... Go ahead and put Larry Nance as my #1.
Larry Nance makes average dunks still look good.

1. Micheal Jordan
2. Dennis Rodman
3. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
4. Charles Barkley
5. Larry Bird
6. Karl Malone
7. Kevin McHale
8. John Stockton
9. Scotty Pippen
10. Pero Cameron (not NBA, but way better)
But all these are only the top 10, AFTER Wilt Chamberlain. no one can EVER get close to this guy,
Rodman #2?
Come on now, I know he was a defensive genius, got 5 rings and probably the best rebounder of the last couple of decades but he's not the 2nd greatest player ever.

Wilt is great and all but he played in an era where he was so much bigger than everyone else. I think it's pretty clear that MJ is better than him.

Agree with almost every name so far so just listing names nobody has mentioned yet:
Bob Pettit
Bob Cousy
Nate Thurmond
Wes Unseld
Elgin Baylor
Rick Barry
Bob McAdoo
Dave Cowens
can't believe nobody said Baylor yet
also Thurmond and Unseld would fuck Rodman's shit up on the boards

If you'd said James Worthy there I might be inclined to give you some sympathy, but Bryant?

Except Wilt played against Bill Russell...One of the greatest players ever
Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time to everyone now because he is the last really great player to play the game, was MJ really that much better than Bird or Magic?
Magic Johnson played center in the NBA Finals during his rookie season, ridiculous
I mentioned him but I'm gonna say it again anyway, the player who always stuck out most for me was David Robinson, he was like Scottie Pippen with an extra 6 inches of height and a better jump shot, phenomenal. If he hadn't had the injuries I think he'd easily be considered top 10 if not top 5.
