need help with name of early 90s tv show

I barely remember the premise but it had a teenage kid who was friends with this eccentric inventor. the kid got these aerosol spray cans from the inventor and he was able to use them to fly if he sprayed them downward. unfortunately i cant remember any other details about the plot or characters but just the fact he used these aerosol cans to fly around. i think in one episode he got beat up by the school bully? :wavesad:
