I'll paraphrase it for you, "We underrated Billy Kidman then fired him. Opps.

This one is equally as good. "We kill Lance's chances of getting over by having Stone Cold come out and call him boring. Then we let Mark Henry injury him. Now he is retired...ah well."

I never underrated him - always though he was shit

Lance was fucking amazing. I would absolutely love to have him back. Joey Radd always praised Kidman, but I never saw the spectacle therein. Storm, on the other hand...he was impressive.

There isn't a single wrestler on the WWE wrestler I wouldn't trade for one of those.
Ok, except Jericho.

Some critics accused Kidman of being too bland – with his boyish good looks and average physique, he looked like either the boy next door or someone you went to high school with.
My favorite part.
I sometimes wish that WWE would listen to their own bullshit.

WWE: Convinced of their own idiocy.
Kidman and Storm are two guys that I brag to my wife about, because they were just before she started watching wrestling with me.

Kidman's awesome. He was one of my favourite wrestlers in 1999 in WCW. His matches with Rey Mysterio were incredible.

Kidman is a Vanilla midget, a dime a dozen indy wrestler that made it in WCW's undercard and fizzled out in WWE. All things considered, he has a good run fro what he was/is. Hell, he even beat Hogan. But he was never mainevent material.
Storm on the other hand was a good worker. He was a cross between Jericho and Benoit, and if he was given the right push instead of being called boring by Stone Cold he would have been a great midcard champion and had a handful of mainevent feuds.

Kidman was tied down by the WWE, if anyone here remembers some of the stuff he was capable of when he was in WCW, you'd never call him Vanilla. (BDC)
Storm was crapped on in both WCW and WWE. In both feds he was given great pushes and then squashed. Never understood that... had to be jealous wrestlers not liking what he was getting.

BDC, Kidman beat hogan, you said so yourself. Thats a hell of a lot higher than the undercard.

Kidman/Rey/Juvi matches (between any of the three) was gold. Sort of like how a program between Rock/HHH/Austin was usually good TV, those three high flyers added cred to WCW '98-'99 with great matches every week. They pretty much rotated wrestling each other.
But WWE recognizes no other style but WWE Style that says only one guy should be a Lucha, Brawler, what have you. Then there's spitting on the Cruiserweight title, which SD! was so proud to have over Raw. Whatever...
Lance Storm was the shit, BTdub. Him not getting over is an example of WWE booking/angle issues and the general WWE fan being kind of stupid.

Personally, I would love to see the WWE cough up the cash to ge these guys back on the active roster. Billy Kidman has been apart of some fantastic matches. He and Rey Mysterio once challenged for the WWE Tag Team Championship, I think it may have been at Vengeance 2003. Anyway, the champions at the time were Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas. The match was fantastic. The fans changed "Bullshit" after an inverted powerbomb launch by Kidman into a hurricanrana to one of the champs on the top rope only got a two count.
Kidman's match at No Mercy 2004 against Paul London was pretty great, too. It did highlight how crappy Kidman's Shooting Star Press was compared to the London Calling, though.
The man was never brilliant on the mic, but if London & Kendrick end up feuding, I would not be opposed to Kidman showing up as Kendrick's "coach."
If the WWE ever decides to revive the Cruiserweight Division, I think Kidman would make a great centerpiece for it.
Lance Storm is just greatness. The WWE should pay him a bundle of cash to return, and make him the ECW Champion. He could teach a lot of guys while just being great.

Probably not the best example out there, but here's one of the rare times he's used it in the WWE:

Haha, Mike Bucci was brilliant as Simon Dean. Sure, he was a jobber, but that man was entertaining.

He coulda been huge with that character, tho. Should have made it so that he only had to do matches he wanted, since he was a corporate sponsor and whatnot. Don't forget, he was paying them, not the other way around.

Bucci was a great wrestler, and he was fantastic on the mic. It's a shame the WWE doesn't know what to do with great characters (well characters that could have been great).

This is true, I believe. :y:
The WWE may not have faith in its smaller guys, but if Kidman can get so incredibly over for his shitty SSP, and guys have gotten so over for simply falling off a ladder as is, I don't see why Paul London cannot do something incredible off a ladder like that, and at least move some "I saw Paul London" die t-shirts for the undercard.
