Provided that all members of said band are still alive.

I'm listening to the Murderdolls album at the mo, regressing back to 2002, and there should have definately been a second album.

Anyways, there are probably better examples of bands that should get back together and give some tasty new music, so shoot!

murderdolls were good, i have the album and all, but after a while you realized there's nothing all that interesting about it.

besides, for shame garf, how can you not mention mad capsule markets? i found my t-shirt the other day. never worn. might give it some action though. i would sell my gran to see them live again.

Extreme (well, they are this year I believe, but it's taken them long enough)

Sure there's plenty more, but this is all I think of right now.

I still remember the night when I saw them live. Tried to get them to come out after the show but they kept saying there were going to Disneyland.

Stone Temple Pilots got back together recently which is awesome. Anyone know if they are recording new shit or just some final reunion tour kinda thing?

I'm against bands coming back together to make new music cause it always sucks. If they tour, that is cool, but not to make new music.

Nah, pretty sure they don't. I'm glad they broke up. I was never really that into them. It gives Maynard the ability to focus on Tool instead of his damn side projects that he always seems to be involved in. Hopefully it wont be another 5 years till we get a new Tool album.

You realise he just released a solo album under the name Puscifer right?

Yes, and I'm hardly thrilled by it. A solo side project that had help from a number of various different people and was pushed out pretty quickly is a lot different from an actual band making an album and touring for a while.

The touring aspect alone would take months and months away from working on an album with Tool. I just don't think APC getting back together would be worth it. I'd rather sacrifice one good band for an amazing band in return.

Dunno, kind of subjective really. I prefer APC over Tool any day, and I know I'm not the only one.

Maynard seems more interested with vineyards than music these days.
