RVD vs Santino Marella (36-4)
RVD vs Mr. Perfect (15-23-1)
Mr. Perfect vs Tully Blanchard (30-5-1)
Mr. Perfect vs Chris Jericho (15-23-3)
Chris Jericho vs Brock Lesnar (34-10)

Chris Jericho vs Eddie Guerrero (21-23-13)
Eddie Guerrero vs Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat (26-7-3)

Eddie 100%. Self explanitory really, better in just about every single way. And I'm a fan of DDP.

DDP to me always seemed the result of a bet on the lines of "let's try and get over the least likely guy possibe. How about that 40-year-old over there?"
Anyways, both were good, Eddie is better.

I would watch WCW anyday if DDP was wrestling. It did not matter how bad the show was, DDP was just that good.

Diamond Dallas Page was great, but Eddie Guerrero was just generally better, I think. Guerrero is in that elite list of workers of all-time, and after his return to the WWE, he became more and more over to the point where it almost seemed like it was inevitable he'd win the World Heavyweight Championship, despite originally asking to drop the WWE Championship because he didn't think he could handle the pressure.
When you are so good that the company has to put a World Title on you, well, then you're pretty fucking good.
Not taking anything from DDP, though, who had one of the best finishers in the business, and was one of the most misused stars the WWE ever obtained. He was a solid hand in the ring, a good guy for promos, and he was fucking over; but I just don't think he was "super excellent" in the ring like Eddie Guerrero.

DDP because I just don't like Eddie, plus *diamond cutter.*

Eddie Guerrero. But DDP was awesome back in the day.
In fact, 1998 DDP VS 2005 Eddie Guerrero...

Eddie all the way.
Yeah, DDP was over, but so was Eddie.
DDP did have a nice finisher, he could deliver decent promos, but he was not nearly as good in the ring as Guerrero.

Eddie Guerrero again. I can't think of that many people I would vote for instead of Eddie.

^ uhhh, way too steal my post in the last better wrestler thread!
Anyhow, eddie is far better than DDP in every area, though DDP is good. My vote goes for eddie.
Heros Welcome

Vote goes to Eddie, and I am a HUGE DDP mark..HUGE. But Eddie was in fact better. It's gunna take someone like HBK or Austin for me to vote against Eddie.

I thought DDP was pretty lame. Never impressed me. Eddie, almost by default.

One of the men you just named I intend as his next opponent. Hero.

How many wins does eddie need to be in the ' hall of fame' of this? You said jericho was one win away, and eddies basically now had more wins than jericho.
edit: btw i aint recieved a rep for this vote yet. ;)

Begger.
Any way it's five. After the Jericho thread I realized he only had his fourth match. So he was still aways away. (Which sucks cause I would have saved Eddie for the next round.)
*edit*
And ftr, the rep isn't for voting it's for giving your reason for voting.

Yeah I was going off of what LC said about TPWW being attitude fans and I thought DDP might get some nostalgia votes. Definatly wrong there.
Liked DDP but Eddie is one of my all-time favourites.
DDP's appeal for me diminished during his last run in WWE and his interactions with Christian - not his fault I know but it greatly annoyed me.
Eddie ftw.

In terms of talent, Eddie....
It pains me, because I want to say DDP so badly...but as hard as Page worked in the ring, despite being about average, Eddie worked hard in the ring too, and was greatness...
So sadly Eddie, because we know how big of a mark for DDP I am.

we should have hbk next against eddie.
we should have hbk next against eddie.
NOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooo.
That means I'd have to vote for HBK and I really want to see Eddie make it all the way through. :(

DDP was the man when he wasn't in the WWE. But again I must go with Eddie.

I'm a big fan of DDP. Especially his feud with Savage in '97 (in fact, I went back and watched most of it on Youtube not too long ago). DDP in '97-'98 was immensely over, the crowd loved him. Honestly, I don't think Guerrero was ever as over, even though he was very over during his title run (especially towards the beginning).
Even though he's somewhat overrated, I'm going with Eddie simply because of his longevity compared to DDP and his in-ring versatility.

I've never seen DDP wrestle anybody. I've seen his matches. But I've never seen him wrestle.

I only ever saw DDP in WWE, so I've gotta go with Eddie

I was never a DDP fan. Not once. But, I will say this. He was a very good heel and played the part very well. And he did a very good job as the peoples favorite babyface character. I loved when he tricked Hall and Nash that he was joining the nWo. His feuds with Raven, Savage and Badd early on I think were his best.

Thank god you made this one easy Destor.
DDP doesn't belong in the same breath as Eddie Guerrero.

I will give props to DDP for having one of the best finishers in the biz and getting one of the 3 good WCW matches out of Bill Goldberg

DDP had a great look, did a great interview and he'd go out and give you your money's worth, but Eddie was Eddie.

I voted for DDP althought I really like both wrestlers. This is mostly because I enjoyed DDP in all the roles he played throughout his career (that I saw) and ESPECIALLY in his last WWE gimmick. Compared to Eddie, I was not really entertained by him when he played a face character...I loved his heel work, but I cant choose him over DDP because when I look back, I cant think of a time where I didn't care or didn't want to watch a DDP match/segment where with Eddie, when he was face, there were times where I didn't like it.
Both are great wrestlers imo, I think a lot of people understate DDP's wrestling. He wasn't as technically gifted as Eddie imo, but he was far from a slouch and I always found him to be very solid in the ring. Of course, we all know WWE crapped on DDP's phenomenal career, but I really cant hold it against him because even with all the crap the WWE was throwing at him, he still managed to be extremely entertaining.

I voted, didn't reply, then left. I'm pretty sure I voted for DDP.
I have the fondest memories of DDP. Right around the time he was great was when I took interest in wrestling.
