The Flair match was great, and his exit was so emotional, but I really hope that he gets the chance to come out on RAW and say goodbye. I am also hoping his FULL speech ends up on the WM DVD.
Never imagined that Punk would win, especially with his "nuclear Heat".
I definitely see him jumping to Smack down, so he can get off ECW but stay on the same Roster. Although I dont see him cashing it in on Taker, and Taker is suppose to Fued with Big Show this summer. Anyone else think he could handle a series with Orton this summer?
I was shocked Orton retained! he went over HHH and Super Cena! They focused on the other guys for the feud, and Orton came out on top. I really hope he doesn't lose until at least SummerSlam.
Taker wins, I figured as much. Hopefully this leads to a monster year, ending at next years WM with his retirement. Maybe not. Both he and HBK are getting up to that age, but if Flair goes to near 60, maybe they will too.
I do not understand the Kane killing of Chavo. Why build him up as champ, then squash him to a guy he has no program with. Punk better not have to use the MITB for this shitty title. and for a feud with Kane? At least Kane brings some credibility to the title. He is a good holder for now, much like Big Show was.
The Rock needs to come back. You could see the fire was still there....I think he realized how much he misses it. Just for a quick feud with Orton....how awesome would that be.

Now that Matt is back to start the second half of the MVP feud, Smackdown will be more fun to watch.
WM clearly showed that they had nothing for Batista to do, and I'm hoping that they swap him with a face from Raw in the next draft.
Orton retaining was such a swerve, as WWE had booked it as a two horse race. Also on the WWE Poll for who should face Orton next, Cena isn't even listed, so hopefully Backlash will see a Triple H/Orton title match with no supercunt in sight.
I'm guessing Edge will get a rematch at Backlash as is the norm, with some kind of gimmick involved.
Chavo was a complete afterthought last night in that squash match. The ECW belt is as prestigous as the hardcore title was, so it doesn't mean anything really. I hope C M Punk doesn't waste his MITB shot on the ECW title.
Speaking of Punk, I was gutted that Kennedy or MVP didn't win, but with Punk he now has a ticket to GET OFF ECW. I would hope that they spend a good few months building Punk up by giving him wins over decent opponents on SD and Raw. The thing is, there is no way that Punk will beat Taker or Orton, he's no way near that level yet. We'll probably have to wait for a lesser champion to win the belt before Punk gets his 1 month title reign.

When Orton retained, I stood up and cheered. I had made a thread a few weeks ago about how Orton should retain and gain some respectability to his reign. Problem is, the way The E did it, he didn't gain as much out of it as he could.
Anyways, Now i don't really see him losing it until SummerSlam. But I do think Punk could be a wild card there. I wonder if Vince is really serious about pushing Punk. You hear all that stuff about him having heat (proof that maybe not everything in the dirt sheets is entirely accurate) and he got the win anyways.

Orton is a chicken shit champion and got EXACTLY what he needed out of that match.

I'd have Shawn Michaels be Randy Orton's Backlash opponent. I think HBK will be riding a wave of fan support. Give him Ric Flair in his corner for the match, supporting his good friend. At Backlash, Shawn Michaels is tuning up the band, when suddenly Ric Flair low blows HBK. RKO by Orton, and the WWE Champion retains.
I think a Randy Orton/Ric Flair pairing would be a phenomenal addition to RAW. Orton still has not got the whole speaking thing down, and his character seems too "angry" to me. I like the idea of Flair claiming that Orton is "The Man" now that he is gone. Maybe even form a new Evolution around Orton?
I definitely see CM Punk as being the guy to end Orton's title reign. It just seems right. Punk will probably not cheat Orton out of the title, but ask for a match at Summerslam. That shit would be good.
John Cena seemed really removed from the RAW scene last night. I think there may be plans to have him go to SmackDown!. He took the fall, he isn't in the poll, etc. I see Batista and Cena trading places. Other moves to SmackDown! will probably include Carlito and maybe Mr. Kennedy.
MVP vs. Matt Hardy will be great, and hopefully it leads to both men moving up the card. I don't think Matt needs a long reign with the US Title. I'd have him win it, defeat MVP in a rematch, and then maybe drop it to Chavo Guerrero when their feud is done.

Punk won't win when he cashes in the MITB, so get that out of you head right now.

yea, I agree about Orton getting what he needed. Never saw that coming, but that's Orton's reign right now.
Before I finished reading your first sentecne Noid, I had the same idea as you. would like that. I agree Orton should be more cocky and dickihead-ish then serious. Actually, I would probably lean more towards having Flair come out and give a speech and Orton RKO his ass, sending him off. HBK comes down..yada yada yada
I read in the news section they want to do Show/Taker, which I'm all for. they work good together.

Yea that's a good idea. Have him go over a guy twice who's held the title for a year just to job it back away. Honestly, if they do a title shot it should be Matt Hardy winning it in his 2nd or 3rd try, and then getting a lengthy reign with that belt in the uppermidcard while MVP gets moved on to a semi main event nontitle program to elevate him to main event.
Matt Hardy needs that title as an uppermidcarder and to have a decent run with it before he goes anywhere else. He's never held higher than European and has rarely worked a high profile angle.
Come on dude.

I was completely expecting Orton to lose, but winning made me happy. I just wish he would have gotten that perfectly clean win, instead of just HHH hitting the pedigree, and Orton throwing him off. I do like the idea of Flair aligning himself with Orton, but not right away. I can't see Flair being heel immediately after last night. It might take a month or 2.
I really don't know what they will do with Punk. If Edge had retained, then I would have said definitely cash in on SD, due to Edge costing him the title in the first place. Though I could still see a feud happen, but not for the title.
And now that WM is over, so should the Playboy angle. So I'm not the only one who wants Mickie James back on tv starting back her program with Beth over the womens title.

There's always the chance Punk will lose the case and never see that shot.
I would like to see MVP and Hardy trade the title a few times before it settles around Hardy for a lengthy reign.
Show/Taker could be good, especially with Show being slim.
Poor Umaga...Maybe a punishment from Regal and face turn to change him up? He really needs a manager/stable.
Where does HBK go from here?

Think about this: In the current anti Drug media campaign, Punk has been their go to guy. Maybe the MITB win is a way of getting their Anti Drug guy in the forefront for the media. I would rather Punk gets pushed because he deserves it, but hey, beggers can be choosers.
How good would the Straight Edge champ look the next time they are on CNN.
