There will be a Ric Flair retirement ceremony on tonight's edition of Raw. Tully Blanchard and JJ Dillon are backstage, so with Arn Anderson and Barry Windham working for WWE, it certainly looks like we'll be seeing a reunion of the strongest (and in my opinion, the best) Four Horsemen combination for the first time in the same place since late 1988.

Cool. I knew they'd do something but thats not a bad way to go about it.

They should do it without Ric Flair.

Maybe Arn will be a goose and almost forget the fourth horseman RIC FLAIR GET ON DOWN HERE!

Last night was perfect, I don't want to see Flair come back again and again, just let the man ride off into the sunset.

I don't mind the idea of him coming back as a non-wrestling talent, but at least give him 6 months to a year off TV so it means something.

Last night really should have been it. It was the perfect send-off and I have a bad feeling they're going to something retarded here.

Probably somebody like MVP or Kennedy is going to crash the ceremony and Ric and the Horsemen will beat the snot out of him, ending in Flair figure-4-ing the guy. Which will be a better last moment for Flair than weeping like a bitch after getting superkicked by Shawn.

Flair already had his moment. Move on.

They should do the "fuck me how amazing is Shawn Michaels" ceremony.

When they do the rematch between Cena HHH and Orton they put a McMahon in EVERY corner and have Linda bring back Flair and have THAT be the REAL last match. Except for the one's after that...

I'm thinking the Horsemen beg Flair to come back, he eventually caves and says he will, Triple H comes out and Pedigrees him, injuring him career ending-ly.

Triple H turns heel and gets to finish off Flair, the way everyone knows he wanted it.

come on, you guys knew this would happen. it's professional wrestling. the sport that milks everything for as much as they could. I wouldn't expect anything less. I'm glad they are doing this because I want to see Orton come down and ruin everything just like he should. Bury the Horsemen. wooooo

Don't like this. The HOF speech was good. Mania was perfect. Short and sweet. Plus this will probably turn into some retarded angle somehow.

Seriously.

The end and aftermath of the Mania match was PERFECT. Just let it end like that. Don't keep tacking on to it.

Dude, a send-off with some of the original Four Horsemen in the ring live on RAW would be amazing moment for RAW and Ric Flair. I don't see this as "tacking on" so much as "adding to" the good-bye for one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.

Why does everybody want Pro Wrestling to be 'subtle'?

The fact its the day after, Raw is in the same town and it was never an absolute given (kayfabe) he was going to retire, it makes obvious sense they would do something to draw big number of the back of the most highly thought of match and man of the night.

Stop shitting on this. This will be an amazing moment. The Horsemen are amazing and Ric deserves his one long TV goodbye. Also, TULLY FUCKING BLANCHARD.

It would have been good, if done last night, and Flairs last (at least for awhile WWE appearance be at Wrestlemania, not WWE Raw.

It'll be the moment we've all speculated...

Flair: ....And I just want to say, than-

*Footsteps are heard*

"As I lay me down to sleep, I pray my soul is mine to keep, And never step outside this bed, Into all the evil... Now back from the dead. Are you scared?"

For the lols-

When Jericho came down I became confused a bit. Not too badly, just a bit.
When Cena came down I straight called bullshit. Hilarious bullshit.
When HBK came down, I theorized all the ways it could end but Shawn superkicking everyone in the ring was probably my favorite. That or just them cutting away to the pre-used Vince limo video exploding and then end the show without explanation.

Seeing Tully was awesome. Seeing my childhood idols together for the first time in 20 years was a treat.

Seeing Harley Race was awesome. I nearly shit myself.

I thought it came off well. Cena seemed stuck in there. While it's possible he and Flair have a very good and close relationship, I think it's more along the lines of "we need our biggest star to be up there".

After RAW went off the air apparently even Taker came out, which is pretty huge considering he doesn't like breaking character whatsoever (he did do the Taker bow, but it's still not really in character).

Overall, there were a lot of mark out moments during that and WWE could have easily gone another way.

Yeah, WWE couldve had a Vince/Flair feud with flair joining the kiss my ass club, but Vince is not that insane yet.
