I love this match. It showcased what I think made WCW great. You have the old school vets Kronik (still think one of the best tag teams of WCW), you have the young up and commers in the perfect event and Staziak And O' Hare, then you got the funny gimmicks like the MIA and Filthy Animals. The one thing that I always liked about WCW is that even though this match had NO "Main Eventers" it was still fun to watch, still had a storyline behind it and it wasnt "Just Filler". I also want to point out that WCW had one of the best Tag Team divisons of any wrestling company.
I still cant figure out though who is that little man with the devil horns??? For the life of me I cant tell who it is :shifty:

you think that tag division in 99/00 was the best? it wasn't even the 2nd best of the top 3 feds imo. And Kronic, one of the best tag teams of WCW? Not even a top 20. unless maybe you're not counting 1985-1998

No not just the 99-2000 time frame I ment that WCW always had good tag teams and spent time as far as tag team wrestling goes.
As far as Kronik goes I liked em, I personally think they were one of the better things to come out of WCW in the later years. Then again compared to the "Magnificent Seven" anything can look good. :shifty:

Wait, later years? Wasn't there only 1 year left after they premiered (even less than that I believe)?
Also note that if you want to count great Tag Teams, you have Hollywood Blondes, Harlem Heat, The Andersons, The Outsiders, Roadwariors, and others. All Kronik was happen to be a cheap APA ripoff.

WCW was my favorite fed, especially at the time that everyone "hated" it. I loved the unpredictable SWERVE angles and overall silliness.
:y:
Then you must be a big fan of TNA

Well, compared to present-day WWE any tag team division looks like one of the best tag team divisions of all time. I think the strength of the WCW tag division at the time was due more to the fact that tag team wrestling was still utilized and pushed in the business in those days, not because the division was particularly good.

Man o Man... if WCW was still around Sean O'Haire surely would have gone on to be a World Champion. :(

Old School? That was their death throws.
Old School WCW is Flair vs Vader at Starcade.
And I just just any respect I had, when you said Kronik was good, let alone best.
Vomit.

Wow I lost the respect of a man who loves trannies :shifty: I'm soo sad. Ok so it's not WCW with the dungeon of doom and the mammoth Vader mask but it's around 10 years old so it aint "Fresh and New".
As far as Kronik goes "I" liked them "I" think that if WCW stuck around they would have been a big tag team. Those are my personally feeling and you have yours.

Sean O' Haire looks like a porn star that you would see and the camera would spend an uncomfortable amount of time on his face right before the cumshot. Just sayin, he's got that look and I don't care for it.

I honestly just realized that the team Kronik was a reference to weed. "High times" choke slam? It all fits!

My vote for best tag team division of all time goes to the WWF tag division circa 2000. Kind of recent, but the number of amazing tag teams at their peak is uncanny

Kronik was more like a monster team than the APA, and they didn't settle into the whole hired gun thing until after they were pushed to the moon. For the record, Stasiak & O'Haire < Jindrak & O'Haire by a long shot. Most of the Natural Born Thrillers pissed me off, they had that quality of monotonous boredom that TNA's X division gives off.
Really, it was just the signs of greatness that WCW mismanaged. Kronik really never seemed as killer (that's rellik spelled backwards) as they did in their initial fued, Jindrak/O'Haire were never as popular after they got thrown right into the middle boring Old Regime vs. New Blood thing and then broken up. The Mamalukes, who I loved, had the same thing happen. Even the Harris Brothers, who I enjoyed when I was a mark, got driven into the ground.
Maybe that's because the Mamalukes, Kronik and the fucking horrible Harris Brothers were all shitty workers. While O'Haire and Jindrak were not shitty workers, they simply didn't have the charisma, experience, or gimmicks to get over against guys like DDP and Nash.
The future of WCW was Jericho, Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Goldberg, Scott Steiner, Buff Bagwell, and Booker T. They waited for most of those guys to leave before they started a real push for anyone, and by that time, it was all for naught.

Buff Bagwell died the minute he came back from his injury and acted like nothing happened. that killed his heat. I honestly thought he was a future champ when he first broke off into the NWO. He could have been a tag champ had Norton not ben in Japan so much.

Might I add, the Blockbuster = best finisher ever! Was the shit in the THQ N64 games. Too bad the fucker jobbed so much he never used it.

yea, no doubt, Bagwell could of been HUGE when he came back from the injury. The fans were behind him 100%. Such a stupid swerve

I was a Bagwell mark big time.
had he been anti NWO, he could have been a top babyface with DDP. Instead he was a B teamer for his career.
