...Needs to cut his fucking hair. The 2 feet or curly mane just doesn't work. Looks good on Weird Al; Matt looks like Doink unplugged.

Looks like he had a really short bit up front too.

He should be a singles champion.

Yeah, his hair made him look insane on SmackDown!. I noticed it too, and I normally wouldn't. I like the style, but Matt just needs to get rid of some of it.

A short-haired Matt Hardy would be interesting to see, though. He's already pretty much a lock to take the United States Championship from MVP, so a change of look might just freshen that up and provide more of an edge to Hardy.

You know Afterlife, if it wasn't for your purple font, because of your lack of avatar, I would not be able to recognize your posts (hint: get a cool avatar )

Matt Hardy with short hair would look like a total tool without some serious character revamp.

Or like a guy who got a haircut.

It really doesn't matter though. I'd say just leave it or shorten it. But even though it'd be out of place and weird at first, it'd be completely normal and a non issue shortly after. Wrestling fans adapt to shit that is inconsequential. Ie, the hair changes of Jericho, Christian, Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarret etc.

Precisely. I just think he'd look a lot better and be taken much more seriously if he didn't look like a Nam vet. The scraggly hippie hair and the camo pants make him look kinda shellshocked on occassion, not to mention genreally thrown-together.

Matt Hardy needs to win the US title and have a good run with it before showing up out of nowhere and costing Jeff the big win, and turning heel lacing into him for being a failure, a lazy unreliable younger brother whos always overshadowed him despite being a fuck up. I don't neccesarily mean these things, but they kind of are true and would be a brilliant way to work a fued with them once they give Matt the singles run he deserves to be on Jeff's level. Then they can properly fued, which will make it all the better when a couple months or years after their fued they have a big mark out moment reunion and run shit as a tag team.

Yeah, right.. Matt's gonna have an even worse receeding hairline than SHawn Michaels. His long hair right now is disguising that truth.

I don't think so at all. I like longer hair, in general, but I think it would make Matt Hardy seem more serious and competitive. Like he's actually around to win championships instead of getting the girls cheering when he takes off his shirt.

Matt Hardy also has an awesome selection of pants. He has since he innovated Mattitude.

Possibly the single greatest thing you've ever said.

keep the long hair and current ring attire. oh yeah and give him the US championship.

Matt Hardy might look too generic with short hair and real wrestling attire. I guess it all depends on what style of hair and ring attire he chose, but for some reason I can see him choosing really boring.

Personally I don't care what a wrestler looks like, but WWE and WWE fans do.

I'm not suggesting he start wearing tights like everybody else. But he used to have new pants every other ppv. He's had the same studded camo for about a year, and it just makes him feel "old".

maybe the studded camo is the secret to his push?

Let's see...Change pants ever week = Job every week to Kennedy
Studded Camo - Job every 3-5 weeks, get upset win every now and again.

I'm going to sound really gay for knowing this, but since 2005, I believe Matt Hardy has busted out seven different pants.

He had his default camo pants, which soon got updated to include a more blue camo-themed attire. He also had Hardy Boyz-era pants while teaming with Jeff, as well as newer red pants, black pants, and I think he had yellow pants at one stage. The yellow may have been a camo design, too.

He also has his newer "skull and crossbones" pants, which he had before WrestleMania, and has been wearing consistently since. I liked his "Mattitude era" pants the best.
