Steve Austin steamrolled through Benoit as expected. He'll probably do the same to his next opponet:

Probably gonna be another landslide. Easy Austin for me. Just better in every way.
Easily the fortune city wrestler. He's even got his own website.

I know, I'm more or less going to be one of the few but Jake Roberts, I love Austin but Roberts was one of the first guys who gave me the wrestling bug.

"You sit there and you thump your Bible, and you say your prayers, and it didn't get you anywhere! Talk about your Psalms, talk about John 3:16... Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your ass!"
Never saw much of Jakes stuff, but for me only one man can beat Austin. So vote goes to Steve.

I vote Jake because he does cocaine.

i voted jake because he was awesome.
unleashing a cobra on savage while savage was tied up in the ropes
slamming taker's hand in a coffin and then ddting paul bearer
ddting taker like 3 times at wrestlemania and then getting tombstoned on the outside.
plus that amazing program he had with warrior where he buried warrior alive and put all those snakes on him

I'm surprised this is so close thus far, at 6 to 5...I voted Austin. Not that Jake was bad or anything, but he wasn't better than or on level with Austin at anything IMO.

"I'm going to make you beg"
Jake the Snake was enormously talented, but never allowed himself to be what he could be.
He gets bonus points for how rofl his segments in beyond the mat are
but OBVIOUSLY Austin gets the vote

i remember as a kid almost weeping for jake when earthquake sat on his python damien, then utterly hating him after the cobra incident with savage and when he chased ms elizabeth backstage and tried to hit her with a chair.
luckily the undertaker was there to save the day.

Austin is gonna win this, and should, to be fair. But I voted Jake for a couple reasons. 1. He's pretty much my favorite of all time, so I'm biased. and 2. Jake was an absolute master at psychology and mic work. It's unbelievable to me every time I hear a promo he did, just how cool it was and how eerie he was on the mic. And on top of all that he never had a huge ego, he never cared to get someone else over, he was one of the guys in the business who loved the business more than he loved himself. Personal demons aside, the man was great. Austin was better, no doubt, but Jake deserved my vote.
I see Jake as a guy who never accomplished anywhere near what he could have. Amazing promo guy, psychology was top notch, one of the best heels there was and he bought a snake to the ring! However, Austin has had many more memorable moments/matches etc and I feel only 1 or 2 guys could realisticly (sp?) out-do him

Jake was Still a big player in the 80's WWF boom.
His promo's remain my favourite of anybodies. Jake always said something new and although Austin had one of the most over characters in history... Jake for me, and like many others, showed me there was more to the show than Hulk Hogan. Mistique provokes interest.
Jake for me.

Austin
Shame too cause Jake was one of the best on the mic and with psychology...hell he made matches based around 1 move.

Well it would seem that I accidently voted for Jake, but I assure you I meant Austin. Same reasons I voted Austin over Benoit, except Jake isn't even a Benoit so it's all the more ironic my accidental vote went to him.

Jake was one hell of a performer, no doubt. But overall, Austin was just that much better.

Steve Austin, easily.
To be honest I've never really had any interest in Jake Roberts. I've wrestled on a couple of shows with him and trained with him before, but he just doesn't appeal to me like Austin would.

As much as I dislike Austin and want to vote against him once again, I cannot... for I have not seen nearly enough Jake the Snake stuff to judge. Thus I abstain from voting this round, since I don't want to give Austin my vote either.
I would say that I'm fortunate because I have probably had exposure to these two in the ring equally. In promos, Austin more.
Have always been a fan of both and respected their skills and abilities both in the ring and out.
Yet, for me, this is an easy decision. Said it in one of the previous polls. You could not have a HOF without SCSA.
