When I launch it, it freezes for about 10 seconds before I can do anything. It opens fine, just hangs for a bit then I can go on like normal. I would have reinstalled by now, but I got a lot of customized things like search engines and options set up. :(

If you have a beastly bunch of search bars, and other add-ons, yeah it will take a second or two. I find opening task manager, and ending IEXPLORER.EXE to be helpful, usually always makes the computer run faster.

iexplorer.exe is never running. A second or 2 is quite the understatement of my problem. :(

It could be just one of the addons. Try disabling them one-by-one to see if it improves things.

Could also be there's just too many. Firefox has become a resource hog on its own, and addons just make it worse.

Firefox isn't terrible at all. But Opera is pretty good.
