This is a wrestling documentary currently being worked on by a friend of mine. It's actually turning out to be fairly good, and they're getting quite a few names for it including an interview with Bobby Heanan. Felt I'd mention it on the forums and get a little word out about it.

Nobody cares about your friend's stupid documentary for jerks!

Kidding, but can I ask what the documentary focuses on?

As long as this isn't going to be a one sided/skewed documentary, I'd love to watch it.

Actually, that looks pretty cool. I go to local shows sometimes and wonder what the fuck some of those guys are doing with their lives. I mean, there are some talented people, but some others who obviously aren't going anywhere with it, yet there they are. Let us know when it's available in its entirety. :y:

Here's the summary from IMDB...

"A film written, directed, produced and edited entirely by people in the industry, Card Subject To Change will bring you deep inside the underground world of Independent Professional Wrestling. Card Subject To Change follows a young wrestler determined to make it in the business he loves, a local wrestling promoter striving to make his company the best, and some of the most legendary names in the history of the business."

Basically the film focuses on independents and gets opinions from those in the industry. He's actually been showing me a bit of it here and there (and more clips should be on his youtube), and it should be really good. :y:

nah, he's doing his best to keep the doc as nuetral as possible.

there actually trying to get footage from WWE (and I think they just got approval), so it's not going to be a "WWE sucks" shitfest like some others turn out. think more "BtM2" type stuff.

An interview with Bobby Heenan? What's he gonna do, answer on his chalk board?

(I just cried a little. Heenan is my hero.)

That's good... because I saw Kip and BG James and thought it could be a "WWE SUCKS" documentary. The description you posted above sounds pretty interesting.

I would honestly like to hear John Cena's thoughts on the independent circuit these days. It seems that EVERY single indy wrestler that I have talked to hates the fucking shit out of him. I usually chalk it up to jealousy, but still, I'd like to see how he really feels about things.
