"Grapevine Fires" & "Your New Twin Sized Bed" are amazing. This album is fantastic.

I've liked some of Death Cab, so I'm downloading it. When's the release?

It is very good. On par with Plans. Gonna say tie between Bixby Canyon Bridge and Long Division for best track.

I am downloading now. I liked Plans, but not as much as Transatlanticism or The Photo Album. It was a bit chorusy for my tastes. But I have high hopes for this CD anyways because I loves me some Death Cab.

To me (on first listen), it sounds a lot like some of their older stuff at times.
On the whole...I like it, but it will need some time to really grow on me. None of the songs stood out on first listen, and the opener and closer aren't as strong as they have been on the past few albums. In fact, "The Ice Is Getting Thinner" is a big big downer for me at the end. I still like it though. Again...it'll need to grow on me a little.

Does Death Cab have any live shit out? I remember seeing them perform live on some show at some point, and I was quite imrpessed.

I don't think they have a live album or live DVD or anything.

The John Byrd EP is a 7 track live EP. Transatlanticism era.
I've seen them twice and enjoyed them both times.

The DVD "Drive Well, Sleep Carefully" has a bunch of live footage of them playing mixed with interviews and shit. Amazing DVD.
