Ahh, a match that can only fail to reach expectations. (And you will probably need to blame Jericho, not HBK if that happens.)

Edit: And who really cares which one jobs? They're both stuck in the upper-mid card and are going to be there for a long time.

Should be good. Not as good as Wrestlemania 19, but then that was 5 years ago.

Plus this one hasn't been booked over 4/5 months like the last one.

But in their defense, this COULD last longer than just this random PPV filler match. MAYBE WWE will do something semi-right? Or is this just me being a little bit intoxicated and a little bit of a Y2J/HBK mark?

Whatever happens, BDC will blame jericho and make a million anti-jericho threads after.

If this match rules, I'll give Jericho his due.

TL doesn't give up an inch. But seriously, this should be a good match. It has 5 star potential, but then again, so does ever Shawn Micheals match.

This one won't be though. It will be good but Michaels has to work with a gimmick injured leg.

Until the last second when he dances after kicking Jericho in the face. I'm calling it now.

So you are saying an "injured" HBK can't be carried to 5 star match by Jericho? Are you a Jericho hater? Am I going to have to call the JDL on your ass?

My only complaints about this match are that it the Intercontinental Championship is not on the line, and that the match might be too fucking awesome. This match cannot suck. I'm sorry, but there is no way Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho can come together, and not put something at least decent down.

I hope this gets time, and that it leads to an IC Title match between the two, if Michaels wins (which he presumingly will, since it's Michaels, and the title is not on the line).

Fuck, what I wouldn't give to see an Iron Man Match between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho for the IC Title, or something. Fucking put them in Submission Matches, 2/3 Falls Matches and even a Ladder Match (which would probably be more psychology-based than a spotfest, so it would probably earn some complaints), and just let them feud throughout the summer.

If I am correct shouldnt this be billed as the HBK/Y2J Rubber Match? The only one on one meetings I can recall them having was WM19 which HBK won. And a few months later in the Fall I believe on RAW which Jericho won.

I don't think the WWE has memory to go back that far. This seems to be coming from a different angle, anyway. There doesn't seem to be much history played between them.

Yeah, this needs more time. Jericho and Michaels fueding rules in concept.
