I'm sure Triple H can pull it off.

Its not like Thor requires fine acting...

I think it's pretty good actually.

The problem is, he'll just be HHH, not Thor. Then he'll come back to the WWE as Thor. But not.

He should go back to the WWE after shooting the movie as Thor - awesome gimmick. He already has experance with a big hammer...

I am a much bigger fan of Kevin McKidd playing this role, which is the other actor apparently being considered for the role. While Triple H might look the part, I don't think he could pull it off well enough acting-wise to be honest.

I guess we'll see. I really don't think any of the movies that any WWE wrestler has made has been above a 6 at the most.

On the 10 scale that is.

You don't need a great actor for Thor. You need one for his alternate persona, Donald Blake. But the characters are so physically different, you need two different actors, which is why I'm ok with Triple H.
This is all assuming that they go the donald Blake route. But being that's what his origin story is, and that he's back to using it in the current books, I think it's likely.

Kevin McKidd could actually make a pretty good Thor. Definitely not Triple H in my opinion. Bad Company kinda got it in one with the whole gimmick/coming back as Thor thing.

Suburban Commando is clearly a 10, and that features 2

My thoughts Exactly.
I had never heard this abbreviation either, but then again I don't have An asshole where my brain should be. Deductive reasoning really.

I thought he just misspelled MTH, and was saying that TPWW's very own should be Thor. Just clarifying though. Thanks for being a fuck off.

Triple H would be an interesting choice...
The big news I have been hearing lately is that the person they are trying to get for the role at the moment is non other than Mr. Bradgelina himself..
Brad Pitt....

The only place I've heard that is rumors from fans, tbh. Haven't heard anything official about him being considered yet.

I think Brad Pitt would play the non superhero version. I don't keep up with Thor that much.

lol @ people looking for a good actor to play Thor.
Yeah, Daniel Day Lewis should do Thor, definitely more of a representation of the character than Triple H

Just read in Wizard, with a quote from the director
The movie will possibly cost upwards of 300 million, If the check clears, will likely cast an unknown.
:-\ Just read that, Kinda disappointed.
