And be all like "Yeah, I do drugs. I was just stupid enough to get caught. And even though I got caught, you and your brat kids still cheer me and help support my addiction. Keep cheering for me, I'm off to drop acid and paint some pictures."

Except then he'd be peeing in the nude with cameras rolling, and that kind of attention would kill the gimmick.

Then he can be like "Yeah your 15 year old daughter's loving seeing this. *pelvic thrust*"

Hardy should come back and say that he's not risking his body any longer for the fans. He took so many risks that eventually it caught up with him and he had to take some drugs. and when he got caught, all the fans turned on him and someone burned down his house.

This sort of gimmick did not work so well for Hawk and Scott Hall...

So basically he adopts IRS's moveset at this point and never leaves the mat?

...If that isn't a feud tailor-made for Kane, I don't know what is.

I'd like to see him in traditional wrestling attire and a crew cut no dyed hair and just acting totally straight laced. That'd be heelish for him, he could still do some bigger moves but just create a different moveset that would really develop his style.

And it would get over like a Hardcore Holly title push.

well if he heeled it up with a heel manager who said he didn't need all that gothpunk shit to make it, and the fans were just holding him back.

No, he needs to stay face, move to smackdown, feud with Edge for the title, Eventually win, only to have Matt turn on him over jealousy.

I dont think drugs are bad.

Indifferent Clox

I think heroin and crack are bad. I think Addiction is bad. I think it's not worth getting high on something you can OD on without really trying

I don't think weed is bad, I think it's good.

LSD can be good if you are in a secure enviroment, but it's like any tool or powerful device, if you don't know how to use it and don't have proper supervision or take the right precautions you can fuck up.

Coke and meth don't do shit for me personally. I mean not anything I like.

Never tried X ( or heroin for that matter) wouldn't be opposed to x just to see what it was like.

I Like opium.

In order for him to turn heel, he'd have to change his look and wrestling style. Give him wrestling tights, take out the hair dye, exchange the high spots for mat wrestling and BAM heel.

Context. You're the worst example here. Preaching.

Well, Destor's worse, being that he's a family man who likes to get paid in Meth...But realistically, how many homeless junkies are on here talking about what is good and bad about drugs?

I kinda like to imagine every poster here is homeless. Crazy, delusional and full of themselves, they spend all day scratching their beards and posting their opinions on wrestling, as it is all they know.

That would be cool.

I think what would really make a good heel hardy would be a proper Hat.

I mean a good Hat can make any heel hardier, especially hardy.

He could begin with a bandana work his way toward a toboggan (not a sled mind you) and by the time he brought a beanie we'd know it was coming. Henceforth he'd hesitently have a hat; immediete heel.

I would actually be really entertained by a "clean and clean shaven" Jeff Hardy. It would mean Jeff would have to work really hard on working a more mat-based style, with psychology and the like, but a heel Hardy would be very, very interesting.

They could keep him as the "underachieving guy who didn't grow up after high school," too, and feud him with a face Matt. There's the heel Matt/face Jeff idea that a lot of people like, but I personally prefer Matt, and I'd rather see him get success first. Mooching little brother then comes along, and Matt has to kick his ass and tell him about respect.

Afterlife
05-18-2008, 07:11 AM
Oh, fuck the "respect" thing. There is nothing more imaginary or empty than the idea of "respect". Saying "I think I can beat you" is not disrespectful. I hate guys like Holly who scream for respect, when what they really mean is "I've been here too long to have guys half my age walk over me for their push". It's jealousy they spout, not an education in manners, and the facade is fucking disgusting.

In short, let's just make it a family feud between Matt and Jeff; Matt has fought and fought well to have his position; Jeff is a fuck-up who gets chance after chance for no good reason. This will end up heel Matt vs. face Jeff for the same reason we had heel Chavo vs. face Rey: the victim will point out that the "hero" is being a dick and living off someone's generosity, and the crowd won't want to hear it. It's the best way to do it and, from my point of view, the only way to do it.

To hell with respect; it's just setting the record straight.

Mr. Nerfect
05-18-2008, 07:39 AM
I agree with you on most feuds about "respect," but I think Matt should try and kick some manners into his little brother, "for his own good."

Afterlife
05-18-2008, 08:22 AM
Manners has nothing to do with it. It's no longer about Jeff's well being. The fact is, Jeff simply doesn't deserve to be in the company, let alone a title shot. He's a lost cause, not a charity event.

And the only person Jeff has to blame...is himself.
