I have learned many lessons during my one-year absence from the company. Especially from the ventures I have experienced right here on the Internet. These days you always hear talk about how our business has changed. You are damned right it has changed, and it cannot all be blamed on the business itself. Fingers must be pointed at some of the self-proclaimed “journalists” who drag our industry through the dirt each and every day.

So yet another guy who blames the internet for wrestlings inability to move with the time.

Whoohoo! Let the witch hunt continue!
Let him. We will also forget that ever since the day he left the fed, he did nothing but dog them. He cried about angles like the rest of us and then only started licking their arse once he got another deal. He hated on Taker too and look who he is back managing. Have another box of Pringles and a 2ltr bottle of Coke you fat bastard.

He said that he wouldn't come back unless they offered him a good
amount of money....I am assuming that he's getting paid enough to
buy MANY boxes of Pringles and 2ltr bottles of Coke :y:
(Not that I'm supporting his return - just saying he must be doing OK).

Pringles come in cans STUPID!! :D
So he sold out then? That's what it's call when you go against your morals for money isn't it?
If Brock Lesnar was still with the company he could form a stable with Percy Pringle, and themselves The Sell Outs.
Lesnar didn't sell out though. He quit a million dollar a year contract to try another job.

Well, to be fair, we expected him to be eating "crow" in order to get back in the good graces of the WWE. in his quest for a paycheck, he's gonna have to kiss some majory ass after his McRant...

Hasn't he already said his "McWrestling" column was to protect the secrecy of his return?
Whether he means that or he's trying to stop sell out accusations, though... :-\

Actually IF and i stress the word if, he does end up getting a contract with the NFL he'll most likely be making less than a mill a year, just based on the fact he's never played college ball or anything like that. Size alone won't get him a contract he needs the skills to go with it, and this training program he's going through may help a bit but honestly there's no substitute for years and years of practice and experience........It's like taking someone like Steven Richards (don't quote me on this) who has no amatuer wrestling experience and tossing him into a 4 month program and sending him to an Olympic qualifying match. If Brock were smart he'd try to get to the same level as Angle and maybe start training for a shot at the Olympics sometime down the road. This is just my opinion though

It'd be funny if he ended up making anything even remotely CLOSE to a million a year, actually.

no kidding, if he's lucky he'll be working 4th string.........which preps the first string for games and doesn't even dress......But its kinda weird, you'd think you'd see something like this reported on NFL.com but I haven't seen anything yet. Hell when LT was at WM against Bam Bam they even reported that on NFL.com

Bah. He's prolly hoping he's a big enough deal to be a draw in the NFL...Or that they'll put him in as a token celbrity. Either that, or he is really trying to live a dream, It's possible, but with the recent events that have lead up to this, I'm skeptical...
Maybe the NFL doesn't think this is a big enough deal. After all, the WWE doesn't have the promotional power it once did, and it is only a tryout at this point.

Good call on the tryout, but I doubt football has ever been one of Lesnar's dreams because to be honest he had the size for football when he was younger, so why did he choose wrestling over football back then.
I wonder if the comments made on him not liking the travel schedule cause it keeps it from his daughter are true because if you think about it, the travel schedules in the NFL are none to great either........And also does anyone know if the tattoo on his back is real?

Not when you only have a 1 year deal and are third string. He probably will get less than $50,000 a year. He has been dogging wrestling left and right ever since he got the deal so he might have burnt a bridge there.

Wait to bump a dead topic Rob. :nono:
He signed for the league million, which is a lot less than $1 mil. I want to say something like 350,000 a year, but that's only if it gets a spot on the roster or is one of eight non-roster reserves who make it.
Also, burning bridges never stopped anyone from coming back *cough* Sable, Stone Cold, and maybe Bret Hart *cough*

I will NEVER understand how a HUGE multi-million dollar company can blame the downfall of the indsutry on the 5% of fans who are "smart" to the business or use the internet to talks amongst themselves.
And, if we the internet marks are so mighty and powerful, why is it that Internet Favorites like Chris Jericho and Lance Storm are/were terribly misused. WWE likes to say that they can't push guys just cause 5% of the fans like them, but then can turn around and say the entire indsutry is failing because of us.........
I share blame for myself and many like me becoming jadded about the indsutry and there fore are more difficult to please, but it is disapointing that they can not look inward and see a lack of quality as the main purpose for the fan's lack of interest.
