This is in regards to WrestleMania 13:

I really loved this period. You could slowly watch the New Generation days fade with every show and new character.

People say that the "End of the Attitude Era" happened at WrestleMania X7

After that we had the InVasion in the summer of that year

We had the "Ruthless Agression Era" after the whole InVasion fizzled and all Alliance members eventually integrated into the roster as one. I would say this was the time when Smackdown was the top show with the Smackdown 6 (some guy from Alberta, Eddie, Rey, Brock, Angle, I forget who was the last one fill me in). Around this time, Randy Orton and John Cena were slowly emmerging as future stars

So how would you classify the different stages or eras up from the end of WrestleMania X7 up to now?

The WWE owns everything ERA.

I think the "Great Depression Era" happened the night that John Cena moved to RAW. The summer of 2005-WrestleMania 24

WrestleMania 24-Present would be the "Age of Orton"

I would classify this as the "Franchise Era."

With the brand extension, movies, music, WWE is working on becoming an entertainment franchise and not a wrestling promotion. More or less I'd say this started around the brand split. When WWE became the umbrella franchise that both (and now three) brands are built off of. The whole "Ruthless Agression" was really nothing more than a month or two of trying to attach a slogan to it, and honestly it never caught on.

Yeah Age Of Orton. It's when he became the main man. Fuck HHH. He's had his time, I like him, but it's the Age Of Orton now. as above, WM24 - present

Before then u had:

Reign of terror
Chain Gang era
OMG WTF era (this is a constantly re-occurring era though)

I'd say the great depression started in Mid 2005

The One actually has a pretty damn good era there. I'd maybe add something about the WWE trying to create "Supermen" in John Cena, Batista and Bobby Lashley, and forcing a lot of stars down our throat. Brock Lesnar and Rey Mysterio can join the forced list.

The Superman Era?

In fact, from the time of Cena's debut to his retirement will simply be known as the "Cena Era".

20 years from now, we'll be remembering things like "Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle had a really good rivalry going during the Cena Era".

Either that or the "Madness Era". Not only because the god awful booking at times, but because Vince is always returning, then losing his mind, vanishing, returning...

Or dying being blown up in limousines.

But he returned from that too. And you know it's just a matter of time until he goes crazy again. :nono:
