I'm having trouble on who the 6th man is
-Some guy from Alberta
-Rey Mysterio
-Kurt Angle
-Brock Lesnar
-Eddie Guererro
-???????
So who was considered to be the 6th guy? Chavo? Undertaker? who?
What Would Kevin Do?

I think it was either Taker (I doubt it though), Chavo ( still sort of doubt it) or Edge.

I was thinking it could be Edge
But also at the same time, there was the World's Greatest Tag Team. But I doubt it was them either since they were relatively still fresh on the scene

I think it could be Edge since he was in a tag team with Rey Rey at some point

The Smackdown 6 was during the time when Smackdown was the top show in terms of quality and the WWE Championship was looked at as the top title. This was around late 2002-2004.
On the other side, RAW revolved around Triple H, and his nose

Because the SmackDown Six was Angle/Benoit, Los Guerreros and Edge/Mysterio. The three teams were all feuding for the newly created WWE Tag Team Championship. Brock was a good part of the show at the time, but the biggest and easily the best things going on at that time was those three teams. Plus I think Brock was injured for a lot of the run of the SmackDown Six, and Big Show was WWE Champ at the time if I recall correctly.

God it's so weird to think Smackdown was treated as the number one show. Why did they get all the star talent in the first draft? I mean they had Rocky, Jericho, Angle, Brock, etc. And later on everyone defected to Smackdown like Benoit, Eddie, Taker. And I am amazed Vince was GM of Smackdown and not his 3rd child Monday Night Raw. Looking back it all seems so weird. How was this the case?! Jesus Christ Raw was SHIT back then.

I think that Trips wanted certain people to work with or something. RAW was basically Evolution vs. Goldberg at the time. Also Nash and HBK was there, so it was basically the Kliq show

maybe because Smackdown is on free TV and therefore a better chance at higher ratings by putting the superior product there?

The Smackdown Six was around from about October 2002 - January 2003.
At that point Benoit and Angle started fueding for the WWE Title. Edge was injured shortly after. Los Guerreros stuck together for a few months after that.

If that's the case, why don't they do it now? I'm sure they'd rather their superior product on cable than on basic network tv right?

RAW had quite a bit of star power after the first draft. They had Undertaker, Nash, Hall, RVD, Booker T, Kane, Big Show, Lesnar, Jericho, the Hardys. Brock didn't move to Smackdown until after he won the Undisputed Title at Summerslam, and Rock and Undertaker were "inter-brand" guys up until then because of the Undisputed Title.

Triple H went to Smackdown in the first draft, didn't he? Can't remember how he moved to RAW...back then they actually gave reasons for guys switching.

HHH was drafted to SmackDown in 2004 - I think he had one match as a part of SmackDown before then GM Kurt Angle traded him to RAW in exchange for Booker T and both the Dudleys.
