MadWorld is looking like it could be the most violent game on Wii. The game follows the exploits of Jack who has a chainsaw for an arm and from what we've seen, he likes nothing better than using it to slice people up.
Yet, although there are gallons of blood shooting on the screen, the violence in MadWorld is straight out of comic books. Apart from the red blood, the visuals are black & white and the game has been heavily influenced by American comics.
As for the story, Jack is taking part in a game show called Death Watch. He has personal reasons for taking part in the game show that will be revealed as you play. From what we've seen, this means you'll run around impaling opponents on spikes.
We've also seen one mini-game in action - it's called Man Darts and has players smashing opponents into a dartboard with a club. Nice.
Yet, according to director, Shigenori Nishikawa, MadWorld isn't meant to be sick. "There are two concepts," said Nishikawa. "The first is the black and white graphics which emphasise the blood. The second is comical violence. We didn't want to create a game that was depraved or perverse but one that happened to include violence."

Looks like it could be interesting but it's too early to say, I think. Wouldn't it be a bit hard to distinguish certain things if it's all black and white?
