View Full Version : What are the chances of WWE hosting a big PPV in the UK again?
I watched SummerSlam 92 again recently and got to pondering the question in the topic title.
I mean that show sold out and the crowd was huge. They used to run shitty UK Only PPVs but seem to have stopped or replaced them with the UK based Raw / SmackDown! shows.
What do you reckon the chances are of hosting one of the big PPVs here? Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series? Maybe one of the other (less important) shows?
What are the chances of this topic not coming up every few months anymore?
Oh, I've never seen / read a topic on the subject before and I'm a pretty frequent visitor. Close the topic I guess!?

I think a topic can be brought up every few months and not kill people. There is a very good chance it will happen, as the WWE has been very successful in the UK. They occasionally air RAW, SmackDown! and ECW from the UK, and they are using more and more British talent on their shows.
The chances are very good, I'd say.

I haven't really seen this topic before as well.
Hopefully good, so we can go watch it.

I used to go to Rebellion / Insurrexion etc, but tbh, there's too many kids these days I end up pasting one.
Maybe if a few peeps would go on here, and I mean decent people not some cocks, we could all use it as a meet up or somethin. Sit together, get some real chants going on. Not "Cena, Cena, Cena". More if he's hurt, we use the classic footy chant "Let him die, let him die, let him die"....
All in good spirits of course!!! :shifty:
I'd say never. It was the biggest show in the company's history at that point and then they never came back and did it again. If they were gonna, they would have by now.
It'll be the 20th anniversary in 4 years time...maybe then??
