And LOL@Joe Horn's celebration.

12-15-2003, 01:26 AM
So Owen's sharpe celebration was just so funny to all the sports reporters but Horn's celebration tonight (Which was much funnier, btw) gets bashed.
Anyways... my thoughts:
I got to watch the Bengal's play for the first time this year. Man, that D sucks. I don't think they'll be making the playoffs.
The Bucs aren't really in a position to make the playoffs. They aren;t mathemattically eliminated... but they are out of the picture.
I'm thinking Green Bay gets that last wild card spot. Although I don't know if they'll beat Oakland next week. Man, crazy season.
Also, next week I'll be forced to root for San Fran to beat Philly and put Dallas back atop the NFC East.
However, I think Philly will lose tomorrow night and win next week against the 49ers, making them 11-4. Dallas should hopefully win next week at home against the Giants, making them 10-5. Then it all comes down to week 17. If Dallas beats New Orleans and Philly loses in Washington, Dallas wins the division because their division record (5-1) would be better than Philly's (4-2).
Of course, if those son of a bitch 49ers can pull off an upset next week, then it makes everything much easier.

cinci will make the playoffs and they actually do have a good defense.

The only way Cinci will make the playoffs is by winning their division and I REALLY doubt that will happen. Baltimore goes @ Cleveland then home against Pitt. Cincy goes @ St. Louis and home against Cleveland. Also, keep in mind that Cleveland is better on the road than they are at home.
If Cincy loses next week, they can only hope for 9-7 and that won't get them in since Tennessee has clinched a better record than them and the worst Denver can do is 9-7 and Denver holds the tie-breaker after beating Cincy already.

No offense or anything, but a lot of your predictions kinda suck
MoRcHeEbA
12-15-2003, 02:27 AM
you do relize that cleveland playing in cinci is basically them playing at home anyways, usually more then half the fans for the cinci cleveland games are from cleveland. So I don't think there's an advantage there... Not to mention the Ravens sucked a big one today against oakland, not to mention cleveland likes to beat the Ravens in Cleveland ever since they've came back baltimore has only one like once there.
#1-norm-fan
12-15-2003, 02:38 AM
But of all 4 games that both teams have to play, Cincy losing in St. Louis next week is the one sure thing. Can we not agree on this?

I think he probably meant you come off as somewhat of a whackjob when you talk about football, anyways St.Louis hassn't been playing extremley well lately so I won't be surprised to see them win... Like I said though Baltimore hassn't played well and they''re playing to teams that could easily win against them.

12-15-2003, 03:54 AM
St. Louis and Baltimore haven't been playing well? And I'M the wackjob!?
MoRcHeEbA
12-15-2003, 03:57 AM
Baltimore just lost to oakland :| and in all honesty that game today could have went to either Seattle or St.Louis... Seattles guy fell over the ref in the endzone and then the Rams should have gotten a personal foul call and never did.

12-15-2003, 04:01 AM
Everyone has one of those losses. Oakland has been playing really well at home lately and they nearly beat the Chiefs in KC a few weeks ago. I don't think a Baltimore loss to Oakland means they aren't playing well. It doesn't negate what they've done the past 3 weeks.
And as for St. Louis, whether the game was close or not, they are playing extremely well, especially at home where they are undefeated and Marc Bulger is like 13-0.
MoRcHeEbA
12-15-2003, 04:04 AM
it doesn't matter where they played Baltimore still doesn't have a QB Jamal Lewis is basically their offence... They have a really good defense but you can't win a whole game on just your defense.
#1-norm-fan
12-15-2003, 04:06 AM
Anthony Wright is a good enough QB. With Jamal Lewis running the ball and that D being able to control the game so well you don't exactly need Joe Montana behind center to be a good team.

Hey krispy, I was just informed by my friend that moved to West Point (you know where that is?) That she had tickets to the Saints game. She had an extra ticket. RIGHT BELOW THE PRESSBOX! Somehow her dad pulled strings and got them for $150 EACH. Says they cost 1200 normally.
And I also just realized if she knew I was a Saints fan she would have invited me. WTF :'(

So I just read that Tim Hasselbeck against Dallas had a QB rating of 0.0. 6 of 26, 56 yds, 4 picks.
Has that happened yet this year?

Vick had a pretty low rating against Ind. but I don't think anyone has gotten a 0.0 haha
