Dean Malenko won by a decent margin again against Ultimo Dragon, but his opponent came closer to dethroning the running champ than any of his previous compettitors. With 3 consecutive wins, Dean is only 2 wins away from becoming the second member of the Better Wrestler Hall of Fame.

But to prove himself worthy of the hall, his opponents must get tougher, and this one fits that term, literally.

ECW Taz > WCW Dean Malenko > early WWF Tazz > WWF Dean Malenko > later WWF Tazz

Basically I went with Taz.

It was a nice run of votes you got from me Dean, but it ends here.

Taz is on of my all time favorites, and once I saw him on ECW I was hooked. Loved his style of offense, loved the character. He was just simply awesome. Did he put on clinics like Dean? No not really, but he could still go. TAZ gets my vote.

I gotta go with Dean. I never liked Taz until he became a commentator.

Dean.

Taz has never ruled harder than Dean ruled at his peak.

Taz was good in ECW, but his run in the WWE sucked. Dean was awesome everywhere he went, so I gotta go with Dean again.

Taz hands down. The man looked awesome in the ring, came across as a legit threat, a badass, and a beast. Plus, he had some amazing music.

I loved his match w/ Shane Douglas when he won the title.
I also loved how he was a class act when he dropped it to go to the E... Plus, his first WWE match with Angle was greatness.

What a feud these two coulda had ten years ago though.

As the voting was for Taz and not Tazz or even Taz/Tazz, I have voted solidly for the Human Suplex Machine. The guy is a beast and I will never get tired of him tossing around guys twice his size. I think you could actually make some comparison between Taz and Dean, sort of like if you were to take Dean Malenko and say "instead of doing wrestling holds, do a bunch of suplexes...oh and choke the guy out as your finish." Also, both are ridiculously tiny. Would have been a good feud to watch.

I'm actually shocked Taz isn't winning this...

I think Tazz is ruining Taz's votes.

I am going to have to ask for someone to tell me the best Taz match and Best Dean Match and let me watch them. As of right now I would have to go with Dean, because I haven't watched enough Taz. But I am not casting my official vote till I see more taz and the poll is up.

Ima make it a tie with Taz. Big fan of ECW + never really liking WCW = Vote for Taz.

Taz gets my vote. He was one of the best in the business in the late 90's, his WWE run has never done him justice. Dean was a great wrestler, no doubt, but Taz was one of the baddest wrestlers of all time.
