Hulk to Victim: You Pissed Off God

Posted May 23rd 2008 7:06PM by TMZ Staff

Unbelievable. While crash victim John Graziano lies in a permanent vegetative state in a hospital with a hole in his head, Hulk Hogan says that God laid some "heavy s**t"on him because of things that he was "into." Nick agrees, saying John was a "negative person."

Nice. Blame the victim, not the person who had been drinking and was driving crazy.

I've said it for years, and people got all over my ass about it, but can we please, PLEASE unanimously agree that Hulk Hogan should just drop dead?

He'd do a lot less damage that way. But to be fair, this seems to be Nick's fault.

Hey, I've agreed with you for all of those years.

One who hogs the limelight,
never welcomed to my sight.
His son's ruined lives,
years after his career took a dive.
Now to the victim he's crass,
not to mention he rubs his daughter's ass.
Victories over the Kliq he's robbed,
contract says he can't be jobbed.
Reality TV makes me sick,
even it's better than this dick.
Won't you please just fucking die
No need to rhyme that with anything,
just fucking die.

Well then I suppose GOD will just have to shove something thick and unyielding up Nick's ass.

Nick's cell mate calls himself "God"?

Holy. So Nick got in a crash and paralyzed someone and his dad is blaming the dude instead of his son? What the fuck? I haven't been following any of this because I don't give a shit, but this is ridiculous.

That's what Nick will have to call him. That, or "Daddy".

Isn't this a fairly common viewpoint, though? Not to defend Hogan, but I mean, there are a lot of douchebags out there who think things happen because God is punishing them. So Hogan's stupid enough to believe it, just like 70% of Americans.

Doesn't make it any less asinine though. Not to mention Nick's discussion of making another reality show once he gets out, chronicling how much he's changed since going to jail.

Kane Knight

Doesn't make it any less asinine, no, but considering 80% of America believes in a loving God who punishes people who do things that arbitrarily offend Him, it's hard to single Hogan out as the asinine one.

Oh sweet zombie Jesus! Like buying someone who is underage beer isn't a bad thing? Now I'm not saying there's something bad with that, but if you're god forsaken cocksucker of a son gets in any trouble it's on your god damn shoulders. Why can't New Jack talk about this shit?
Yea, fuck every Hogan out there.

Thing is, most of those Americans aren't pop culture icons with legions of fans and former fans, and most of them aren't trying to deflect the blame for their sons criminal activities. This really is just an "I told you so" moment; the Hulkster, who's supposed to stand for livign responsibly and taking the shit for your own actions... can't even raise a law-abiding son, and when he pretty much destroy's his friend's life, Hogan basically says "he had it coming."

Way to feel strong about right and wrong, Hulk.

Kinda picturing the Hulkster going into this guy's hospital room and giving him the point and going "YOUUUUUUUUUU!"

What a clown.

Surprise. The model American is a hypocrite and justifies his own moral wrongdoings, just like the majority of Americans.

Come on, this guy is only living up to his "Real American" gimmick.

I'd say "typical" instead of "model..." but yeah, I'll generally concede the point.

Does this mean we can blame the sorry shape of our youth on Hulkamania?

Kane Knight

Indeed. They said their prayers, took their "vitamins," and look at the shape the nation's in.

Afterlife

Of course, "the shape of our youth" and "the shape of the nation" aren't at all the same concept. But I'm sure Hulk Hogan can be held as an omen of both.

Define "grew up". Not that you're wrong, just so I have a better understanding of the age group of which you speak.

Also, the youth and the leaders are never the same entity. That was my point. Youth can either assimilate or revolt, and both are viable options, for better or worse, in any given place at any given time. The youth will always become the leaders, sure; but then they are again separate from the next generation.

Who would have thought Brooke would be the sane one in that group?

I honestly hope Nick gets a human booster shot from a bunch of Nazis, then the black gang, then the latino gang, then back to the Nazis

The Hogans were clearly wrong in assuming that God would punish one of the guys involved and not the other. That's pretty self righteous.

Aren't we all doing the same thing though, only we're leaving God out of it? Imagine if we were celebrities and every time we said something stupid it made headlines. I can think of a couple pretty stupid things I said this week.

Now if Hulk or Nick actually felt bad for what they said and made a statement, it would receive a lot less coverage and most people would write it off as a half hearted apology to save their image.

Though I think most of us are saying something closer to "pride cometh before a fall" than what Hogan said. Kenny tends to assume the monstrous in others because he himself is a monster.

(My favorite part of Nick and his Mom's conversation)

NICK (crying): "It's like, Mom, I haven't been able to move more than ten feet in this thing for SO LONG. It's so small and they're just keeping me in here all by myself, there's nobody to talk to."

LINDA: "I know honey."

NICK: "I've been stuck in here since I got here, I can't stand this..."

LINDA: "Yeah, honey? Since yesterday?"

NICK: "I mean, at least in the last one they had a window, so I could like, see out and see the security guard, and get his attention."

LINDA: "Yeah..."

NICK: "And now I'm in this one and there's no window, and I'm all alone, Mom, I can't take this anymore."

LINDA: "Well that guard, you know, honey, is just as miserable as you are. I mean, think about it, you're just there for a little while and he's there for life. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

NICK: "........Mommmm...."

LINDA: "Oh, my poor baby..."

Yeah, but it was mostly due to gay rights and womens' liberation.
