Vince is going to play Monty Hall and play Let's Make a Deal with the fans.

He will have three curtains and the fans will text or vote online for the curtain they choose, whoever is in the curtain the fans choose will become the new Raw GM.

Curtain 1 will be Teddy Long

Curtain 2 will be The Coach

Curtain 3 will be a goat

Fans will choose Curtain 2 and when Coach is revealed, the bad deal music plays and some random fan at home yells "I SHOULD HAVE PICKED THE GOAT!"

Impact!
05-26-2008, 09:40 AM
So Tomko will be behind curtain 3?

Curtain 3 will be a goat

It'll probably have something to do with the new RAW GM (probably that Vince is searching, and we'll get weeks and weeks of Vince until he forgets he is looking for someone to fill the role), the draft will be confirmed, or the brand split may even be ended.

From most likely to least likely (probably).

Vince: It has been brought to my attention that some people believe John Cena isn't actually getting cheered. So tell me people, are you saying Boo, or are you saying, as Stephanie always tells me Boo-urns?

Mr. Nerfect
05-26-2008, 10:03 AM
Crowd *no being able to resist the magic of Boo-urns*: We were saying Boo-urns!

Vince: OK then. We'll push him for another three years.

Crowd: Dammit!

Viewers at home: Boo-urns!

Heros Welcome

Hulk Hogan will be announced as the new RAW GM and will come out to the quietest, tamest reaction in WWE history. He will then get chased off stage with "FUCK NICK HOGAN!" chants.

Vince: I have a MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT! On a night when half the audience won't be watching, I'm going to pit Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels in an Iron Man Match! We'll also be airing a tribute to the great wrestler known as CHRIS BENOIT! And, for one night only, as you may have guessed from the double ring, WAR GAMES! This is also a NO CENA ZONE for tonight only!

Theo Dious
05-26-2008, 01:04 PM
That's crazy. Vince would never book so much stuff that fans want to see on a night where not only is a lot of America on vacation, but a large portion of the audience will have switched over to the Stanley Cup Finals.

Anyways, these "major announcements" would mean more if they didn't have one every three weeks.

It'll only be something like "Wrestler one is gonna face wrestler two at Night of Champions in two weeks".

Meltzer is reporting Kennedy will be the new GM

I had a guess that might be it. Kennedy gets the push that Regal was going to get, but fucked up ala Jeff Hardy.

I think Teddy is a bad move for them though, Teddy is GREAT for the live crowds at house shows and Vickie doens't tour, I really dunno who would come out and lay out ther nights card if Teddy didn't do it.

Meh. I'd prefer Teddy Long over another damn heel GM. I know, I know...they don't need a GM, but since they are so hell bent on have a GM on all three shows I'd like for them to have at LEAST one babyface GM.

I mean the only other person who could pull it off as a babyface GM would be Shane McMahon.

I imagine it has something to do with the GM's of WWE and the upcoming Raw/ECW merger.

Or maybe that heel stable I read about is debuting.

One announcement was the draft, the other for some reason was he announced he would give out a total of $1million to the raw audience from next week onwards. Still not sure i heard that right, but im sure. Weird eh.

Kane Knight

Yeah, I was expecting some sort of catch.

DENVER – In front of tens of thousands of fans inside the Mile-High City’s Pepsi Center, Mr. McMahon (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/mrmcmahon/) unleashed a shocking proclamation — he’s bringing back the WWE Draft.
He then proceeded to outdo himself.
In a blockbuster announcement, the Chairman declared that he will be handing out $1 million of his own money live on Raw (http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/).
The giveaway spectacular comes on the heels of William Regal (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/williamregal/)’s forced departure from Raw. According to Mr. McMahon, the former Raw General Manager had so displeased fans with his egotistical antics — turning off the lights and cutting short the broadcast — that the Chairman found it necessary to prove his appreciation for their viewer loyalty.
For inspiration, Superstars offered their own recommendations. Mickie James (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/mickiejames/) proposed allowing schools to win a WWE Diva for a day and JBL (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/jbl/) recommended giving away squares of the crimson-soaked ring mat after he and John Cena (http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/johncena/)’s First Blood Match at One Night Stand.
After declaring his intent to bring back the WWE Draft, making all Superstars, Divas and announcers from all shows eligible, Mr. McMahon dropped the million-dollar bombshell. He proclaimed to a shocked audience at Denver’s Pepsi Center that he will give away $1 million of his own money live on Raw.
With a giveaway of this magnitude, what could Mr. McMahon possibly be thinking? What could prompt the Chairman to give away his own money? While our usual sources are suprisingly quiet regarding this epic announcement, there has been an explosive reaction from WWE Fan Nation.
One user said, "I don't know why he's giving it away ... I just know that I want it!"
Another pondered, "Maybe there's something that McMahon isn't telling us. People don't give away that much money just for nothing."
Whatever the reason, WWE.com will attempt to have more information on Mr. McMahon's shocking announcement by noon eastern time tomorrow.

Is it me, or does the entire money storyline seem tailored for DiBiase? It's like Vince had originally written him into the GM spot but decided to make it himself who gives out the money to make him "look good".

Of course, he just came off sounding desperate.

Kane Knight
05-27-2008, 01:25 PM
It's kinda funny, though. Vince is, in theory, bribing people to watch.

In reality, probably not, but...

Xero
05-27-2008, 01:27 PM
It would be hilarious if there was a significant ratings drop starting next week.

Then Vince could cut a promo saying that "No one's watching? Well then I guess I'll keep it ALL FOR MYSELF!".

SWERVE!
