the fact that floyd lost to zeppelin upsets me more than the beatles winning.

See, that's what makes them overrated, right there. I apparently can't dislike them, because if I do, I simply "don't appreciate" them. God forbid you don't like the Beatles. You tell someone you don't like the Beatles, and 9 times out of 10, there response is "WAH? How can you NOT like the Beatles."

And that's why I think they're overrated, not because their loved, but because their loved to the extent that it's apparently abnormal not to like them,

It's abnormal because every single band afterward is effected in some way by them. All of them.
